Is that not true? Williams could never beat Floyd in my opinion. The way Williams leaves himself open swinging all of them punches with his long ass arms fighting hunched over. Floyd would have blasted Williams.

I'm not sure since we don't know if Williams is really on the declined, he's fought opposition that he doesn't have a solution to. There is no proven fact that Kirkland is better unless they both fight.

I swear Floyd is the P4P greatest fantasy fights boxer I've ever seen in my life. Put him in against Ali or Robinson and I swear Floyd fans would still pick Floyd over them.

Canelo fighting Williams:

Williams is on the decline, Kirkland is better, he hasn't looked good in his last couple of fights.

But I seriously would bet my paycheck on this.

Floyd fighting Williams:

Williams is a southpaw, he's undefeated vs orthodox boxers, he is the most avoided in boxing, it will be a very exciting fight.

Floyd stans just passed Cotto's nuthugging fan base as the biggest double standard douche bags on here.

All boxing fans have to do is look at the punishment Williams has taken and how he has looked in last four fights to see he is on the decline. But according to Canelo's cheerleaders it's still 2007 and Williams is good and fresh as he ever was. You would also believe that Mosley has been frozen in time and is coming off the Margarito win reading some of the BS excuses for Canelo's choices of opponents.

You can't pick opponents like a prospect, hold a belt hostage, and expect to get the respect of other fighters that put it on the line.

Yeah for such a hype job he's got victories over a prime Margo and Martinez. The same Margo that made Cotto quit, whether cheating or not. PW is proof of why you shouldn't take risks as a fighter. He got forced into a fight with Martinez the first time because you had Pavlik the drunk with the never ending staff infection, and he was in a dog fight that I had him winning but you could have scored either way. Then he rematches him and gets caught. Then after a long layoff he fights arguably the most underrated fighter in the sport, who is obviously a bad matchup for him and gets beat. Now essentially he's a bum according to most here. What exactly is the benefit to taking risky fights if this is the outcome?

I couldn't agree more. If your boy fights and beats Williams any questions I have about his skill level, toughness, and fight choices are out the window. If PW is so washed up you would think people would be lining up to fight him because he's got as much name value in the 154 division as anyone not named Cotto. I like Canelo a lot, but I've been unimpressed with who he's been fighting. If he takes this fight he skyrockets up on my list of favorite fighters because this is a huge risk.

Cotto is not what he was either but he has always been a better overall fighter than Williams. And that doesn't change anything about Williams who has done nothing to show he is "reborn."
