I would really like Canelo-Kirkland instead, but this is better than Canelo-Quintana.

I actually thought Williams was going to retire after the Lara fight, but hey.

Williams isn't what he use to be, but I think he will still give Canelo problems.

It's not the fight that I wanted, but it's good for starters.

I won't trash Canelo for this fight like I have for his others. It's a start.

Canelo's team is staying true to form by matching him with an opponent on the downside. Until he fights a live, prime opponent on the way up, he will remain a champion by name only.

Because from now on canelo will only be fighting shot over the hill damaged goods fighter with big names. He will rarely face other young strong threats. It's all about the money now

It's going to be very interesting to see how his career goes from here. He already has 40 pro fights. He's a welterweights height but weight wise he should be a middle or super middle

How is somebody shot by losing to the #3 pound for pound fighter in the world and one of the most avoided fighters in the game today?

Jermain Taylor is shot. Shane Mosley is shot.

Paul Williams is the same Paul Williams he's always been. 1,000 plus punches a fight leaving himself open for vicious counter overhand lefts.

Flawed and shot aren't the same thing.

Yes, he throws more meaningless punches trying to impress the judges to win rounds. He hasn't had a knockout in ages. Canelo throws every punch with knockout on his mind. Paul Williams should follow Shane Mosely into retirement and not get ktfo by this kid, because that's what's gonna happen shoud they fight.
So Williams is shot cause he got knocked out and had a tough fight with Lara???damn boxing fans these days are a trip

Canelo should come out as a southpaw and finish the night quick.
