I've always thought he was. I always thought it was bogus that people tried to diss Floyd's wins over Corrales and Castillo, saying they weren't that good. Castillo was, in my eyes, the best LW of his era hands down. Mosley and Floyd were good but they didn't have long runs at the weight jumping through so many weight classes. And Corrales best wins are pretty equal, if not better in many areas, than Cotto's.

        But, neither is an ATG.

There's just a big difference between HOF and ATG.

I think they both will get in the HOF.

Love you Jro, but one of the first posts in the "Who has the bette resume Castillo or Cotto" resume from a few months ago is you saying this:

"Cotto is not a HOF'er in my book. I wouldn't vote for him. But, IMO he has by far the better resume and accomplishments."

Lotsa votes for Cotto. I doubt a lot have really heard of fighters like Bazan, Johnston and Casamayor, though.

Cotto can still add to resume and legacy. Right now, Castillo might just barely edge him. Cotto's resume is better than Corrales'.

Stevie and Castillo, aside from Mosley and Mayweather who didn't really have big runs at LW anyway, were the two best LW's of their time.

I went to Castillo-Johnston II in Denver, was obviously going for Stevie, very very close fight.

Can you imagine if Castillo, Cotto, Hatton, Gatti, Hernandez and Corrales all get in the HOF?

It really wouldn't surprise me if all of those got in the HOF.

And in reality, none of them really deserve to IMO.

If all those names get into the HOF the overrating of Mayweather is going to be unbearable in the future.

He will have beaten 9 HOF'ers

Cotto beat Bazan also, in like his 10th fight. Obviously he wasn't as good anymore but still...that fight was veryyyy early in Cotto's career.
