And even if I did, would an Alt of mine ever claim that Bernard Hopkins has a better resume than Roy Jones? Absolutely not.
He easily does. He fought more names and Jones been KTFO like 5 times. Plus Hopkins dominated the gys who ko'd him. How is that not a better resume?

that win was at least as good as jones over trinidad if not better.

Simon Brown was a good talent and top fighter in his day.

In 1998? Not so much. Not at all, actually.

That win and Jones' win over Trinidad are about the same.

It seems you have an obvious bias here.

You leave McCallum of Jones' resume (rightfully so) yet have Simon Brown on Hopkins?

He wasn't shit at the time he lost to Hopkins. He was lightly regarded until he beat Jones years later. That's his only big win. The Tarver win was a gift. Reggie Johnson was a much more legit win for Jones than Glen for Hopkins. Deal with it.

                  I don't think so.

Hopkins possibly fought the better fighters overall but I think Roy Jones is the greater fighter.

no i only added brown when the other guy added to McCallum. I agree about brown and trinidad.I didn't have Joppy and them on my original list. only added tem when another poster tried adding vinny Paz ect..

My opinion is that Hopkins fought more names an has a better resume. Is that a bias? Its my opinion.

yeah a lot of people do. I agree Jones at his best is probably better then Hopkins at his. I would love to see that fight. But I think overall Hopkins had the much better career given the endings.
