Even Floyd's underwhelming 1.5 mil is better than Pac's overwhelming PPV #s. Pac fans always say people buy Mayweather PPV to see other fighters. But you have to admit, the common denominator in all those fights IS Floyd Mayweather. Even if people did buy the fight to see Cotto and Canelo, so what? It shows Mayweather/GBP are smart businessmen to try to appeal to a wider audience. Let me ask you this, other than Pacquiao, who do wanna see on the June 9th card? Timothy Bradley has no name recognition other than to hardcore boxing fans. The only reason most of you know the name Timothy Bradley is because he's Pac's next victim...I mean opponent. I don't see Jun 9th doing better than a mil PPV. Can we say 60/40 split...

That 1.45 million claims for Pacquiao/Marquez is Bob Arums numbers not official HBO numbers and Arum is known for B.S`ing people. So i would`nt take that number as gospel.

Up until the JMM fight, I felt Mayweather was the bigger draw and probably deserved the bigger purse because he had always outdone Pac qith common opponents. But Pac-JMM 3 out did Money-JMM, so I'd say they're about equal.

1.5 million PPV, is this an official word from HBO management? If this is coming from Mayweather, then it does not count and most probably a big "wish" from chicken Floyd. How many months passed by since the Mayweather/Ortiz took place and until today we have not heard anything official from HBO itself. No intellectual being will spend their hard earned money on a Mayweather comedy show. 1.5 PPV it is just a number coming from the "Chicken Make a Wish Foundation".

Floyd vs Clottey and the undercards that fought in Pac vs Clottey fight. I dont think he can draw a flies without those big name dance partners.
