    Atleast I hope.

If these two keep fighting people other than each other, one of them, or possibly both of them will lose.
Yeah, Pacquiao's next bout isn't a walk in the park either. Anything can happen, from an early Manny KO to Bradley battering him to a shocking outcome.

When he fought higher quality opposition, that felt they could beat him (Tarver, Johnson, Calzaghe) it seems Roy's offence was not as efficient, and they found holes in his defence. It would have been great for Roy's legacy if he travelled to Germany and beat Darius Michaelczewski when he was the lineal LHW champion.
Why do you bring up Johnson and Calzaghe as a way to measure Roy Jones Jr?

      He was old by then.

Do you measure Michael Jordan's career for failing to make the playoffs with the Wizards at age 39?

Roy Jones was washed up the minute he went to hw, and tried to come back down to lhw at age 35. He should've fought Lennox after Ruiz, got knocked out lol, or just retired.

Jones was done against Tarver, well done against Johnson and over cooked against Calzaghe. Only Jones's critics try to pass those losses off as Jones first time stepping up in comp. Real fans know the deal. What's next? Jones used PEDS his whole career? Tarvers people say this to try to promote Tarver ahead of Jones in the atg department. Won't happen.

I wish we could have seen Prime Roy vs Calzaghe

Joe Calzaghe pissed me off tremendously with his god damn show boating. This ***er even admit that ROY WAS SHOT AFTER TARVER 1

For God's sake. And I think that was 4 years before their fight...
Roy started losing because IMO at least, of his dramatic weight loss from HW to LHW, he was never the same afterwards.

He should have just fought Lewis right after Ruiz,

get knocked out by the baddest meanest mother***a on the planet, then retire.

OR he should have retired after Tarver 1.
That fight really showed his amazing courage and character. it was to me an all time high for Roy

Everyone saying he should of retired after Ruiz is wrong, or for staying at HW.

He made history recapturing the LHW title after taking a hw title FROM LHW.

You know when the next time we see a LHW fight for a HW title, win, then go back to LHW, fight the best champion and win again?

Because it was over 100 years before Roy did it.

I also think Prime Calzaghe will give Roy a hell of a night prime for prime that is.

Calzaghe gets a bit underrated in terms of skills. He is no walk over for any version of Roy.

Why didn't Roy retire after beating Tarver ?

He was old, he knew his body was done and won't be the same...

what do you think would have happened to his legacy if, after beating Tarver, he just says "Hey, I'm 35 years old, my body just doesn't feel the same after going up to heavyweight and coming back down to recapture the light heavyweight title. You will see me at ring side, but that was the last of Roy in the ring"
