LMAO, Mayweather can't look the least bit vulnerable without making an excuse for himself.
And bullsh** on weighing 147. Complete bullsh**.Comment

Thought he had the flu, given he was asking for tissues and blowing his nose in some interviews during the last week of the fight. Still NO NEED FOR EXCUSES.Comment

People who give Cotto more than 4 are definitely doing so without taking into account how Mayweather was hitting Cotto with bigger, better, and more shots, because Mayweather was actually getting hit. There were two clear Cotto rounds where Floyd laid on the ropes too much and took punches, and two others that were close but I could see him winning. Other than that Floyd won every other round clearly. That's at the very most, I had it 10-2 to Floyd, and there was one extra round which I REALLY considered giving to Cotto but thought Floyd just edged, so could understand 9-3.
People are acting like Cotto deserved 4+ rounds solely because he did better in some rounds than most of Floyd's previous opponents, but you can't look at it like that... if you think Floyd got the better of him in the round and Cotto was competitive, Floyd still deserves the win, people are holding him at a higher standard.Comment

Mad props to Cotto for his performance. He made us Puerto Ricans proud last night. He did a lot better than what I thought he would do.
No doubt about it, Floyd won this fight and he continues to show the boxing world that he's the best at adjusting throughout a fight.
I will admit, there were a few times when I saw Floyd in the corner I thought he was beginning to wear down and there was a glimmer of hope for Cotto. But Floyd always finds a way to throw you off.
Big ups to Floyd for standing in there and fighting. Cotto would have beaten anyone else last night.
One last thing. If Floyd had a killer instinct, I would possibly consider him the greatest of all time. But he's content on just outboxing his opponents. Which is cool but going for the kill is what makes Ali the greatest to have ever put the gloves on. Still, Floyd is great...but not the G.O.A.T.Comment
