About the injury, it could be plausible as you saw Floyd switch to southpaw very briefly once or twice, then quickly went back to orthodox after reconsidering... which could indicate him struggling to use his left hand, who knows... but I'm not gonna read into it too much, Floyd won the fight and it was overall a good night of Boxing, was an exciting fight - which people often complain saying Mayweather is boring, well this even well and truly delivered!
I call BS on the hand injury. Weight? Who knows. Cotto is a very small jr. middleweight so it isn't like this would make much of a difference.

Floyd threw 305 jabs in this fight. That is way more than I have ever seen Floyd throw. In fact, part of the reason why his connect percentage is usually very high is that he doesn't throw the jab often (a much lower percentage shot) and throws single powershots on which he is insanely accurate. Last I checked, Floyd's jab is his left. Now explain to me why, if his left hand was truly injured, he'd have deviate from his career long disdain of throwing jabs and thew over 305 of them.

      • Floyd was 151 on Friday , and on Saturday 147 if true this is good for Floyd because he going to make Martinez come in at 150 the night of the fight not the Friday before the fight..
