You seem to forget why Floyd went crying his way to vacation back in 2008.

Your arguments weigh no more than the duck balloons you blow up
Hatton had fought at 147 before, and though it was a close competitive fight against Collazo, he still won a title there. And it could have happened at 140 in 2005 but Hatton himself said he wasn't ready for Floyd. I know you probably weren't even watching back in 2005, let alone when Floyd actually started his career, or when Ray Leonard was in his prime. If you've been watching the sport for as long as I have, or as long as some on here have, you wouldn't be the way you are. You are the new age moron boxing fan....

The Berto hype train??? Instead of fighting Berto, who everyone said he should, Pac fought Shane Mosley fresh off losing to Floyd and fighting a draw with Mora......Ortiz was still the #2 ranked WW after be beat Berto, was a good fight.

    Grow up, son......

Unlike you, I can actually see the greatness in both fighters. They are both ATG's.

    • I really find it hilarious how people here keep claiming how floyd/pac is gonna beat this guy easy and stuff like that and then after both don't live up to expectations all hell breaks loose.

And now some idiots thinks floyd is gonna destroy pac and vice versa. ****in ****** ****s these guys are elites and there's no easy fight at that level.

Your opinion is also not a fact, it is an opinion. Just as my opinion is that Floyd did not clearly win.
So are the scorecards. They are based on, subjectivity, personal preference, vantage point and OPINION of the score keeper. But when they go in that record book they become a fact. I feel Abril dominated Rios but the FACT is that Rios won the fight via decision. I agree with everything except your last statement. I was kidding about the phone

            • I don't want to sound like I'm doing Cotto but this fight wasn't close at all if you know how to score a boxing fight. Cotto fought his ass off and the fight was VERY competitive but Cotto wasn't winning the rounds. 118-110 is how I scored the fight and one judge scored it the same and two scored it 117-111 so I can say I say my score card is pretty close to accurate. Cotto made Floyd work and showed true heart but knowing how to score a fight it wasn't close. I feel score card wise the fight wasn't close at all but going by damage inflicted it was a close fight. Cotto definitely did some damage but he just wasn't doing enough to win rounds.

My man KOed him lol , I think Ortiz beats Pac at 147 .

To be honest, going into Round 5 I thought Mayweather was going to get the stoppage. His jab to the body was working great and he was shutting Cotto down I thought.

But then he stopped throwing it and let Cotto come inside and go toe to toe with him and although he did well inside, he let Cotto go to work at times and get some good shots off.

I think Mayweather pushed for the stoppage from Round 1 when really he should have taken his time more.

But, entertaining fight none the less. We got some flashes of 130 Mayweather tonight. I really enjoyed it.

Props to Cotto aswell. He came to fight.
I hear you IronD and I need to watch it again. But like you said, from about the first 4-5 rounds, I thought for sure that he would be able to get him out of there late in the fight. In the middle rounds, Cotto landed some good shots, but Floyd held his own on the inside and alot of Cotto's shots were deflected or grazing blows. I will say, I thought Floyd looked 35 tonight but still landed at will. I like the subtle adjustment that he made with his right hand. He looped it around Cotto's glove and started tagging him on the neck and ear area. Nice adjustment that also opened up the uppercut right after the right hand. Entertaining fight for sure and a clear UD. I need to watch it again by myself to really give a score for it. And hats off to Cotto.
