I know right. Mayweather is boring to them, yet they ALL watch him when he fights.

Berto is boring.....yet he was just in the FOTY with Victor Ortiz.

People need to get a life. If they don't like them, don't watch.

Well I guess if you want two guys slugging it out in the ring all night, and I do like some brawling type fighters as well, than I guess that's what you like. Plenty of people like the pure boxer, and skill, that fighters like Mayweather have.

Not the masses. They pay to see a fight not running.

So Floyd Mayweather runs??? Andre Berto runs??? Timothy Bradley runs??? Andre Ward runs??? Adrien Broner runs???

You probably would have said Muhammad Ali in his prime just ran, same with Leonard as well.

And if they pay for someone who fights and is exciting only, how come Roy Jones was never a huge PPV star??? He was never even close to the PPV star that Floyd Mayweather is. Why wasn't he a guy the casual fans paid for???

In boxing you simply never know when you going to get a barn burner. Can't count the amount of times I didn't watch a fight because I wasn't too interested and the next day everybody will be talking how great it was.

Bottom line if your are a fan your a fan

One of the most boring fights of all time.

Crowd booing throughout, people who paid hundreds, thousands for their tickets just get up and leave rather than watch the borefest.

                Damn I'm getting sleepy now

And you know what's funny, he still is the 2nd highest selling PPV fighter per fight next to Mike Tyson.

yes they're boring, no they're not that good and yes they consistently get hometown gifts and help from partial referees and judges just because the US boxing is weak these days they are short of stars

is it damaging for boxing? hell yeah
is it gonna change any time soon? fcuk no

You mean like Ricky Hatton getting a gift against Collazo? Or Jean Pascal getting a favorable stoppage over Dawson? Who exactly doesn't get favorable decisions from time to time. And yes, guys like Dawson are very good.
