You want a 10 million bet that Floyd ain't up on the Lederman scorecard by the end of the 4th round.

Floyd is content to cruise to a UD but if you press him you end up taking counters all night. But that is the risk you have to take if you want to beat him. No risk no reward.

Cotto is going to try and outwork Floyd. He said as much in episode 3. "I'm getting ready for 12 rounds, but 12 hard rounds". I see him being aggressive and borderline dirty. Anything to try and make Floyd uncomfortable. Problem is there is no evidence of Floyd ever being uncomfortable in the ring other than 1 Mosley cross that landed right on the button and staggered Floyd for 30 seconds or so seconds.

Diaz is the wild card in this fight. Although he can't fight for Cotto it'll be interesting to see what gameplan he puts together. Being the head of the Cuban national boxing program is no joke. I respect Diaz more than I do Roach, Steward, or Garcia. That said after about round 8 most fighters fall back to instinctual tactics and less on corner instructions. (Although Cotto stuck to the gameplan in both his fights with Mayorga and Margarito).

Here' the thing; Mayweather has recently shown a penchant for staying in the box, he's ****ing but he is so damn masterful at blocking, deflecting/rolling, and weaving that we don't see it as a war because only 1 guy gets lumped up and it hasn't been Floyd to date.

I think Cotto grabs early rounds like in the Manny fight, might even win 4 of the first 5 rounds because the work rate will benefit him. The 2004 version of Cotto might even hang on for the win, but the 2012 version won't be able to. Floyd will methodically open him up and I hate to say it but lump him up. Cotto will swell and cut. Partly due to well hidden lighteing quick elbows the ref can't possibly see but mostly due to Floyd's incredible accuracy and speed on his crosses and check hooks. 2012 Cotto will slow down considerably after round 9 and that's when I think Floyd will pounce and go for the KO. If we were in the 15 round era Floyd's KO percentage would be much higher and I'd bet Cotto would have another 1 or 2 losses on his record.

I'm rooting for a Cotto win. Hopefully Miguel catches Floyd with left hook to the liver and that's a wrap. But that's the Cotto fan in me. The boxing fan in me sees Floyd getting stronger and stinger as the fight progresses and Cotto slowing down with every passing round. It'll be a war of tactics with some fireworks but not a brawl.

          "I've been tested" ????????????

          When ?

In his first loss with Castillo 1 ?

Nah, Jr was too good to go deep in the trenches.

Jr will be tested the day :

someone breaks him down in the body

someone takes him into the later rounds in a beat down.

What makes a test for him is not a single punch like from Mosley but a serious beat down and he is not able to turn the fight around and stays on the bottom in the trenches.

          Fatigue !!!!

          A good whupping !!!

          His uncle QUIT !!!

Somebody needs the speed , the balls, the power, the gameness to take him there.

          Can Cotto do it ???

Cotto has been to the trenches,,,he KNOWS the trenches, he knows the feeling of fatigue, he knows what it means to quit, one might say once you quit you will quit again like JR said about the cuts but Cotto is not a bulldog he is a man so the :

trenches are not uncommon to COTTO ,,,"BUT" they are UNCOMMON to JR.

I hope Cotto with 11 great weeks of training under "THAT" cuban trainer, a possible "GREAT" ?!?!!!! did I say 11 weeks, plenty of time to get in the best of shape and "PEAK" !!!! with a renewed heart !!!! will take that JR mang to the trenches and skull drag him a bit, warm up that head with hooks and break down that body

and give that JR mang a goooooooooooooooooddddddddd ole fashion whupping and that game test he sounds like he wants.

If Cotto pressures Mayweather and tries to fight on the inside, look for it to be Mayweather-Chavez all over again.

Cotto will eat uppercuts all night. That will be his downfall.

I hope Cotto is in good condition.
You are talking about a man who spars 15 minute rounds with fresh opponents...Apparently, you do know what in the hell you are talking about. Pacquiao does indeed have a ton of stamina, but he is the sloppiest of all. He is out of position alot. Not to mention his poor ability to cut off the ring and utilize a jab. He would get countered and peppered from start to finish. Cotto is known for not being in the best of shape in his fights. This fight will be extremely one sided.

Please tell me when was the last time Cotto went 12 hard rounds. Without fading.

                  Thanks in advance.

Unless the dead can come back to life, or you can reverse time, that aint happening. Pacquiao aint the one to do it either. He's been exposed. The only people who could possibly do it are: Hearns, Hagler, Robinson, Lamotta, Whitaker, or JCC.....And seeing as though none of them are alive or boxing, its not going to happen.

War? Floyd makes it sound like he is in afghanistan. . It will never turn out to be a war, as Floyd has his legs to run, and run he will. He is in his prime and his legs havent gone. He has decided to fight in his last couple of fights against limited fighters. If cotto turns out to be limited Floyd will duke it out to a certain extent but never will you see floyd go to war.
