    I call bull****

When's the last time we've seen Floyd get into a "War"? Floyd fights HIS fight and takes little risk. Though Floyd is heavily favored in this fight, Cotto by far is a smarter and craftier guy than guys he's fought in quite a while. I just think he's drilling the media and trying to get into Cotto's head w/out necessarily talking him down.

We're going to see the same Mayweather we saw against Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz. Patient, careful, and economical with his punches. "Pretty Boy" Floyd won't show up in this fight.

if the judges mess this one up al haymon will float them down the charles river, right by his alma mater
Pretty much how i see it.

Cotto has completely renounced his aggressive qualities he was know for and Floyd is content with pot shoting for 12 rounds

And what fighter can match Pacquiao for work rate and stamina that Mayweather has fought recently.

Mayweather will wait for Cotto till tire before he starts opening up. Cotto has to be top condition to keep Mayweather weary.
you mean the same Pac that seemed very winded at the end of the JMM fight and complains about leg cramps seemingly every fight now? The better question is what guy has Pac faced with Floyd's stamina. You have to admit that his training is on point.

Workrate is also overrated because Floyd can slow pretty much every fighters workrate down. Pac wont be going crazy on Floyd like he does everyone else. His workrate even came down alot in the JMM fight.

Why does Floyd have to wait for Cotto to tire? He doesnt do that. Again, people have to take 2 things in account. They have to take Floyd's inactivity & Floyd fighting Southpaws into account. If he's taking a couple years off in between fights then its going to take him a few rounds to get going.

Also, if he's fighting a Southpaw then he's not going to let his hands go until he figures you out. Cotto is not a Southpaw and Floyd is being a lil more active now. Floyd doesnt wait for guys to tire out. Maybe the Oscar fight was the only one. He doesnt have to wait. Its his style that tires guys out. Trust me, Floyd will be letting his hands go early and alot by round 4 or 5.

As for the difference in Floyd & Pac from the early fights, you also have to admit that Floyd is physically a different guy. Cant move like he use to but is way way way stronger now. He could be bullied back then. No one is going to bully him now, not unless you are way bigger.

He also is at his prime mentally. He was at his best weight in that fight & smart but nowhere near as smart as he is now. He knows how to adjust and knows what to do in the ring way more now. Thats why I said its not the same

if you watch that fight then you know that is not the case at all. Chop is my boy but what he's saying means nothing. Floyd walked him down the whole fight. Just took him awhile to adjust to the Southpaw style. Still, they went toe to toe the whole fight

so Floyd didnt walk to Mosley & Ortiz? Or is it Floyd's fault that these guys cant hit him clean? I guess you see it as if Floyd doesnt get beat up then he wasnt in a war? His point is he's coming to the center of the ring and he's not taking steps backwards. Then he will start walking Cotto down. Now if Cotto cant land well back, dont blame Floyd like he didnt come to fight

                Betting...

I'm very new to this site but been following Boxing all my entire life...
I only have 166.75 points and I'm willing to bet all my points that Cotto Will win 4 Rds or more, any taker please hit me up.

Also if anyone feel kind to donate some points I will take those as well...

Come fight time we will see two warriors that should off have faced off even before Cotto got pummeled by margarito and Pacquiao. Just like Trinidad and Jones and many other fights that should off happened while in their primes.

I believe that Mayweather will adjust to the fighting style of Cotto and will try to win the fight Coasting to a UD.

Im rooting for Miguel Cotto, I have been following since his amateur days, hes has what it takes to pull the upset, many do not give him credit, the same happened when he fought Mosley many thought Mosley will easily Outbox Cotto and it was Cotto who beta Mosley in his own game...

We will see a very interesting match up, and more exchanges than anyone expect, now the question is who will capitalize in those exchanges, styles makes fights, and this for sure is a very interesting fight with many tangibles and many question pending to be answered...

Like I said before I'm rooting for Cotto all the way win or lose, but my gut tells me is going to be a majority decision for Cotto...

This is my honest opinion, till later guys from Afghanistan.

i think floyd wants to make a statement at 154, that's why he's fighting for the WBA super and WBC diamond jr. middleweight titles. if he does well vs. cotto, his next target will be canelo for sure (if he demolishes mosley), maybe sergio after that.
he's probably going to drop the WBC welterweight title, unless he can make a pac fight soon.
