Calzaghe is seriously overrated

Regardless of what Hopkins tries to say to save face, Calzaghe beat him fair and square. And he doggy styled him in the ring.

I like joe he was good 4 boxing but I dnt think he can beat a prime Roy jones or a prime B-Hop IMO

I agree that Jones was done when he fought Calzaghe, but Hopkins went on to beat Pavlik and Pascal after he lost to Calzaghe, so Hopkins wasn't exactly shot.

Calzaghe was the man.....Dariusz Michalczewski and ottke are scrubs who never made it to HBO..Calzaghe did...and won, retired undefeated. Look how much Floyd has gone through to save his 0...Joe did it with ease.

Calzaghe took 3 risks his entire career. Floyd has done way more than that and did it earlier in his career when he had a lot more to lose. Fighting Corrales and Castillo alone was more than anything Calzaghe accomplished.

Look at it this way. He exposed Lacy, which was huge at the time but nothing in hindsight. He beat Kessler pretty clearly, but Ward absolutely humiliated that same Kessler. Calzaghe's truly great win was the disgusting fight he had with a Bernard Hopkins who was still fighting well albeit once a year. Calzaghe is hugely overrated.
