and when hopkins is elected into the hall of fame and considered an all time great he'll be standing tall with more dignity and pride than anyone on this board so don't bring up dignity. what have u accomplished? exactly.
Hopkins has been fighting this way for years so don't give me that bullshyt. He's a flagrant cheater that's giving the sport a bad name. Holding, headbutting, flopping , crying, jumping on backs, faking injuries is not the actions of a man with dignity. Maybe you should look the word up.

I thought faking low blows was joke. Turned out he was deadly serious. Like there wasn't camera's on him

man, i'm not saying this was his best fight obviously not since he lost, but he did give chad a tough fight. yes he made it ugly but that's what he was supposed to do. jesus give the man some respect he did what he could
I respect Bernard Hopkins I have made that clear on several occasions but I'm not going to give him respect for his performance tonight whether he was 27, 37 or 47.
I don't respect someone's performance when they holds every 5 seconds and consistently headbutts in a fight. Like I said, doesn't matter what age they are. If you can't perform without doing that due to your age then you simply shouldn't fight at all.
You can't expect people to respect it either. No one besides die hard Hopkins fans are going to respect his performance tonight and the responses are clear evidence of that.

Then he didn't, and as he walked towards the corner smiling and laughing. So was he laughing because he pretended he was about to go through the ropes, like he was mocking the people who think he quit the first time, or was he laughing because for a split second he actually considered going through the ropes? I'm not sure.

Someone mentioned he's held his whole career?...No he hasn't. Go watch his fights with Trinidad, Glen Johnson, Jackson etc etc. He started doing this as he got older. Look obviously this was no great performance all Natas is saying is give him respect for how much he's done in his career and how much he's accomplished from age 40 on alone. What's so hard about that? I also notice a lot of this BS hate is coming from RJJ fans, go figure.
