How many extra points did you give Hopkins for that tackle of his. He's good at it he deserves points.

And we've uncovered yet another incompetent judge......... I'm happy to say good-bye to Hopkins......I hope it's a fact. Just to spite us all, he's capable of hanging on.

as long as Dawson stays focused and aggressive...AINT NOBODY GOING TO BEAT DAWSON AT 175!

and even though Ward is one of my favorite fighters, I don't think Ward beats Dawson either at 168 or 175, would love to see him get his revenge against Pascal still...but this time in the US...NOT CANADA!

Close fight but thought Dawson did enough to edge it, although each round was close and could have been scored either way, if you were scoring the the close rounds to Hopkins - it could have gone the other way.

Hopkins is 47 however and I think 4 years or so ago - he'd have had enough to beat Dawson - his legs are so much slower.

I noticed his legs had really slowed down in the two Pascal fights but he seemed to have lost another half a step in pace in this fight.

This is of major disadvantage to Hopkins - as it means he can't get into position quick enough.

At 168 I fancy Ward, Hopkins has lost too much on his legs and reflexes - still as smart as they come but he just doesn't quite have the speed of foot or hand to go with his speed of thought anymore.

Ward on the other hand does - and although it'll be a close fight whichever way it goes, I think Ward has more tools overall and like Dawson and unlike Hopkins is in his prime.

B-Hop's really slowed down - notice bale since the last R Jones fight, although he still had enough to beat Pascal and give Dawson a competitive fight.

As highly as I rate Dawson I think Ward has the edge.

Hopkins should have retired after the Pascal win.

There's no way that Dawson can beat Andre Ward.

Dawson had to fight with two cuts in his eyes, and Dawson still won the fight convincingly. Hopkins was constantly on the back peddle, it didn't matter that he was older, he was holding and hitting just trying to score rounds that way. That was his tactic and seldom landed clean shots.

Dawson on the other hand was the aggressor and landed more shots. Any version of Hopkins would have problems with Dawson. Four years Hopkins was hardly any different then he is now. He lost to Calzaghe four years ago.

say goodbye to the "dirty, slick, black afro-american" fighter...

i will always remember hopkins as a fighter who is a master of holding and clipping his opponent's head off...

What a boring match.Who beside Pascal can give a show in that division? Dawson is as interesting to watch then the painting on my wall.
