Mayweather approached Pacquiao with an offer of a flat $40 million, with all pay-per-view revenue going the American's way. The Filipino's promoter, Bob Arum, responded by turning the tables on Mayweather with a counter-offer of $50m in exchange for the PPV money, before returning with a proposal to split the television money 55-45 to the winner.

Mayweather turned both offers down, insisting he will not budge on the option of receiving the entire PPV income, which has been estimated to be worth around $150m.

Pacquiao's latest offer, 70% of the PPV takings to the winner according to business advisor Rex Salud in GMA News Online, is the latest instalment in the negotiation saga, and with the Filipino behind proposals that grant the winner the greater payday critics have again asked if Mayweather is ducking the fight to preserve his reputation.

Guess Floyd don't want that 30%
Why would Mayweather accept a "Winner gets so and so amount" When Arum has the judges in his pockets?

    Think man.

Your replies are pathetic you twist **** and bring nothing but defense and bias towards Floyd and twist things.

What Manny's fans say has nothing to do with what Manny's decisions are.
Did Manny say he doesn't fight for money? He never said that, so if a fans opinion is now a good rebuttal?

Floyd is the one who has more too lose, , that is why he wants all of the money because if he is going to fight someone he is scared of he wants to be paid well because he will no longer do 1 million ppv buys after he loses because the public will already get what they wanted to see Floyd boring Mayweather lose.

and yes he is scared of Pacquiao, only a bias fool wouldn't notice that his whole family is scared of him and amazed or else they wouldn't throw a steroid accusation just read roger mayweathers recent interview NO WAY IN BOXING history such a little man can be so strong and beat up on big men.

Floyd Sr. said the style to beat his son is an aggressive non stop punching southpaw lol.

Just stop, in life you must be fair and balanced, and in this situation is all on Floyd "Self Preservation, Health first" MAyweather.

Anytime someone brings up their health when they are asked about a fighter they wont fight, that means they feel that fighter can damage their health meaning they fear them.

It is comical watching those carry on about the words of a man they hate and hang on his every word.

Then watch them complain and attack about those who have a different views and carry on about that.

It is fun watching pots call kettles black~

He didn't say anything about the guarantee in the article that was on here.

He just said "He's willing to take less money because what's important is making the fight happen"

Presumably he's referring to the PPV split. Considering that's mainly what fighters are concerned about in regards to who's getting paid what.
