Atleast he fought good fighters, though.

    And HOF'ers.

Shane just fought bums besides 1 fight. 2 fights at most.

For the record I rank Duran #4 at LW.

And, he also beat good, ranked fighters and HOF'ers, numerous times. His resume is pretty good at that weight. Enough to be considered The GOAT? Meh, it's a pretty deep division but he along with many others have a case.

I don't even think Mosley can crack the top 25 in that division. It's a pretty deep division.

You can say that about anybody, just as long as they fight the top guys who cares? You hear it alot with Chavez sr too.

Well, you're certainly in the minority. And good fighters and HOF'ers are one in the same, since it's clearly not just the ATGs that get into the hall.

No way does Shane Mosley hit the Top 25 at LW.

            Absolutely no argument for that.

His resume at the weight is terrible.

All in all, I might rank JMM above or just as high as Mosley at 135. Mosley really didn't do a damn thing in that weight-class.

                Of course.

But he beat deserved HOF'ers at LW anyway so what does that matter?

He has a list of great wins at LW despite the bums he fought.

Mosley didn't do much at that weight. The overrating just comes cuz' Shane was fast strong powerful and his record on paper looked very nice. But, really beat no one.

knockuthe***out, i always wondered, how fmj would have fared, against a fighter like vernon forrest, who was long, rangy, and had the all the attributes of a thomas hearns, or if it was winky wright, that he had to face, instead of oscar de la hoya for cash cow status @ 154 lbs...winky wright, was undisputed @ 154, had an excellent stiff jab, and the type of defense, which allowed him to keep coming forward behind his jab...those were the fighters, that shane mosley had to encounter, when he was seeking bigger challenges...
