The money thing wasnt an issue til Arum got involved...Floyd and GB prob would have no problem dealing with Top Rank if Arum wasnt involved. Manny wanted to secure his biggest payday (and IMO his exit strategy from boxing..fight FMJ then retire) til Arum realized how much money he would be leaving on the table (and knowing Manny wants out, how much he'd lose with Pac leaving after most likely).
I think Floyds always thought he could beat Pac...but theres always been a little doubt in the back of his mind...but after watching the last Pac/JMM fight that doubt got pissed on and set on fire. Which is why he pushed so hard for the fight (and went so far as to call Manny himself)...but after Arum got involved and kept puttin up hurdles...FMJ just said fu-c-k it and decided to screw up Bobs plans for Pac vs Cotto 2.

Yeah. I'm just wasting time reminding this clown about how pac fights for the fans yadda yadda. No one really cares about this.

I'm currently residing in Realityville so I lost hope of May/Pac a while ago. I have no problem with JMM 4. JMM's a true warrior and if he isn't going to get the credit and the win he deserves at least let him make millions and have the people know he's the real champ. Pac/JMM is a fight that'll always be close, competitive, and controversial. I'd rather see him fight JMM and win a controversial decision than fight some old/weight drained fighter who just wants to show up for a payday. It's sad that this is what the corrupt business has done to me but I'm just trying to be realistic about what my options are of seeing.

Floyd is smart, he knows he has a lot of dumb followers who WILL always buy his ppv no matter how boring the fight would be. The funny thing is at the end of the night these same fans would complain about the boring fight and the funny thing is right from the start they knew that their boy is simply boring to watch. The last time he fought, he basically combo slapped Ortiz til he bring out his best smile LMFAO!

pacquiao needs to retire after the bradley fight, win or lose. he needs to stop fighting undeserving opponents who just fight to survive and not to win. all we've seen from his opponents have been to cover, run, fight backwards and when the judges give it to pac they whine and cry like babies.

they haven't been fighting like they're the challengers who need to do more than just survive. makes me puke when these opponents are paid in millions of dollars.

as for mayweather, nahh. just let him rot and remain pac's duck. if his own fans are not interested in seeing the fight and they're more into their idol's self-preservation, financially and physically, so be it. let's just leave it at that.

Allow Pac vs JMM IV!!! No point at least not until Mayweather vs Pacquiao actually happens, but JMM saying he didn't retire because he wants Pac again makes me believe he has been promised another shot at being robbed.

I like both Pac and JMM but tbh I don't see any satisfying outcome from this fight. What happens if JMM finally wins officially? Fight 5?

JMM didn't win the fight.
I watched the JMM-Pacquaio III a thousand times and the most you can say is it's a draw. It could have gone either way. You don't win by counterpunching alone and not execute the finishing touches. If Marquez does the same thing again in a fourth fight, I don't see a definite resolution to the fight. If it's another close fight and the officials decide to give it to JMM, fans need to learn to accept it and stop being sore losers.

This is just Bob Arums way of milking the last few years out of Pacquiao.

2012 - Fight Marquez (rob him), and then fight Bradley, Fight Marquez again (rob him) and then 2012 comes around.

2013 - Fight small Bradon Rios (rob him) and then fight Jmm for 5th fight (rob him) and then fight Bradley again.

Basically he is doing rinse and repeat to avoid Mayweather.

We all know that Arum is not interested in Mayweather.
