Here they are again using Floyd's name in a desperate attempt to hype up themselves and get some attention. The reality is that Michael Koncz and Manny Pacquiao can say whatever they want, but it doesn't matter because Bob Arum calls the shots and he knows how to manipulate Manny and get him to do whatever he wants him to do, and over the last year it has become absolutley crystal clear that Bob "I Have No Soul" Arum has zero intention of making the Mayweather fight at any time ever. He's just using Floyd's name to try and make Manny's more popular.

He could have made the fight in May if he wanted to but he avoided it like the plague. That is not going to change. He knows better than anyone that Manny has pretty much zero chance of winning that fight and if that happens and Manny gets destroyed then he can't continue to make a ton of money off of Manny like he is doing now. Whenever they talk about Floyd it is for one purpose and one purpose only, to try and get attention, that's it. Manny became popular by talking about Floyd and using Floyd's name to hype himself in a desperate attempt to become more well known, unfortunately I think this is going to continue until Manny retires without making the fight happen.

Its funny, im a huge Floyd fan..but sometimes I take his **** talk with a grain of salt. But when I saw the title the 1st thing I thought of was him saying how they always bring up his name to draw interest in Mannys fights. He wasnt lying.

The money thing wasnt an issue til Arum got involved...Floyd and GB prob would have no problem dealing with Top Rank if Arum wasnt involved. Manny wanted to secure his biggest payday (and IMO his exit strategy from boxing..fight FMJ then retire) til Arum realized how much money he would be leaving on the table (and knowing Manny wants out, how much he'd lose with Pac leaving after most likely).
I think Floyds always thought he could beat Pac...but theres always been a little doubt in the back of his mind...but after watching the last Pac/JMM fight that doubt got pissed on and set on fire. Which is why he pushed so hard for the fight (and went so far as to call Manny himself)...but after Arum got involved and kept puttin up hurdles...FMJ just said fu-c-k it and decided to screw up Bobs plans for Pac vs Cotto 2.
