    Lets be realistic

Zab Judah has no other big money options
He is not a big enough name for De La Hoya
Margarito has limited appeal at best
There is only one big fight he can make and that is with Mayweather

    Floyd has other options
    Cotto
    Hatton
    Castillo
    possibly mosley
and if he is crazy winky

That is the negotiation dynamic. The belts are basically irrelevant unless Judah wants to fight bum of the month mandatories the rest of his career. Judah has been in one true mega fight in his career and was KO'd in 2. Until he can win a fight of this caliber, he simply will not have much appeal.

I like both Mayweather and Judah but neither of them can sell tickets so they should just split the purse and fight.

If you're getting paid 3.5 million gauranteed money every fight regardless if you fill the seats or not, would you market yourself.

If Floyd is crazy he will take on Winky you say???

Let me clear up another misconception if I may...What the **** would be so crazy about taking on a guy who holds a ton of credibiltiy and presitge in the sport as Winky does all the while knowing that the only thing the guy can do is jab at me.

It would be crazy if Floyd would have fought lets say a guy like Gerald McClellan but Winky...hardly crazy.

What the **** is so crazy about fighting Winky?

I got news for the Winky fans...Floyd is twice the talent that Winky is and in big fights he is pretty ****ing dicisplinedt too...he beats Winky and proves to many out there that this move is hardly crazy.

Again the winkster is a good fighter but as I have repeated many many times he is currently the most overblown fighter out there!

Floyd would dominate Winky....Zab poses more of a threat then Wright. (I dont think either guy touches Floyd-Floyd if he gets beat will get beat by a power/pressure fighter)

          I disagree scap.

Floyd is trying to pave his way to greatness by the EASIEST way possible. Winky already called his bluff to "beat on a little guy", and Floyd turned down HIS own original offer and made a ludicrious offer to the champ at 154.

Judah - Mayweather will NEVER happen and neither will Mayweather - Hatton. I look like an arse right now, but I just don't see it happening.

King is going to want some options with Floyd's career if he gets a shot at Judah, and Floyd hasn't even mentioned Hatton's name once since the Gatti or Mitchell fight. Floyd's content with knocking out shot, or feather-fisted fighters for 3.5M a fight.

If Arum and Floyd have any negotiating savvy whatsoever, King will get no options in Mayweather because Judah again has no other realistic options.

              Tu,

Your Mayweather hating is really tiresome.

It was clear long ago your agenda is to hate on him and give him as little credit as possible.

Your laughable assertion that he's "chosing the easiest path to Greatness" already ignores his titles in 3 weight classes and victories over several pound for pound and world class fighters.

All your amo is based on what YOU "think" he is or isn't going to do next.

I've seen you ALL OVER Hatton's nuts at several opportunities.

For someone that's constantly cutting down Mayweather, it's ironic for you to so strongly tout a guy with ONE meaningful victory in the one weight class he's won a title in.

Floyd is young, and will dominate for years to come.

A few years from now I hope you're still around because you're going to be proven wrong.

Mayweather is looking for the 10 million dollar fights so yes he will have to try and market himself. That's what he's been doing for years now and it just isn't working. Unless Mayweather goes to war with someone with a recognizable name I don't see him becoming the huge superstar he is desperately seeking to become.

                  Look, Bozo.

I don't call what Floyd is doing right now "negotiating". He is the one to blame with all of these big fights supposedly not coming off. I am a firm believer in his abilities, but how can you show how good you are when you're not fighting the best?

What matchups is he seriously seeking? He throws names around and then prices himself out by demanding more than the lion's share. I don't consider that an honest effort to make a fight, so in my book he gets no credit for that.

HBO is cradling Floyd's balls just like they were with Roy Jones Jr. He's saying He'll fight anyone, anywhere but the price is never right for him.

He got his freebie wins over the lower top 10 140 lbers and Gatti, it's time for a step up.

You really think he would dominate Winky? C'mon man Floyd started at 130 and Winky has trouble making 154.

You're whole take is that YOU "think" he'll continue to do this and waste away his career.

That couldn't be any more speculative.

A lot of guys have big egos that kill fights, and I don't believe for a second that Floyd's never going to be involved in a big match up.

Again, you're all over Hatton's sac and he has ONE world class fight in ONE division that's he's won a title in.

He 'says' he's coming to the US, and then there's talk of him fighting Gatti or a tune up before he looks for bigger fights.

If you hated Hatton the way you do Floyd, you could say the exact same sort of things.

You don't like Floyd, and that's where your critisims come from.

I'll bet you 100 Million points this Judah Mayweather fight comes off.

You just speak like you have a crystal ball and that all these unfair and harsh critisisms you have of him are some how validated by what you "think" is going to happen.

Floyd is the best fighter on the planet, and he WILL be in with Marquee fighters in 2006.

Be prepared to eat some humble pie when it happens.
