4 rounds maybe 5 but im a BIG hatton fan
rd 5 was all hatton also def gave him rd 1

but yeah cortez just ruined that fight as he always does
could have been a much better fight , it was a good fight but it could have been great
w/o cortez we could have seen floyd dropped or somthing more exciting

not saying hatton woulda won but woulda been much closer
props to floyd for beating a prime hatton

I think Hatton was up 9-0 going into the 10th. He was just about to Murk floyd and rid the world of this evil, shi talking, women beating, ducking **** untilCortez tripped him and he hit his head on the ringpost, KO'ing himself. Good thing because Roger was holding a white towel about to throw it in.

Ask Weebler is this more accurate?

again. INside fighting and brawling bad for hatton being that floyd was out brawling him.

and floyd didnt almost drop at all nor was he close to it. hatton hit him with a grazing punch and floyds feet looked to be planted(timing) and floyd lost his balance but recovered.

Even though Cortez helped Floyd so much, it was still competitive which shows how good hatton was or how bad Floyd is, whichever way you want to view it.
no doubt, Floyd elbows Ricky twice in the face then jumps out of the ring and Cortez takes a point off Hatton for punching a rope

Mayweather was focused on the ref for months in advance, he never shut up about it in the entire 24/7 yapping about Ricky's win over Tszyu (something Floyd didn't have the guts to do) and when fight night came Cortez was like a battery operated flomo.

Ruined what would have been a great fight.

I don't get all the fuss, the kid made some decent money and he seems intact mentally. The guy was a champ in his weight class and should be very proud of his accomplishments. The bottom line is that hes NOT a talent in the same catagory as Pacman or Floyd and when he stepped up to them he got destroyed! Theres always tuff club fighters who sneak in the mix and its always good that the underdog gets a shot but even a Hatton fan should know that his desire and will just wasn't enough because he wasn't on the top tear fighters list. First off hes a 140lb and thats tops!! He is way to small in structure and volumn to be in the welter class. He had no power and his stamina was not equal to a real welters. He was lucky to be in at 140 at a time when the class had the better fighters move away from it. He did very good for himself but he's not a great fighter and he doesn't fight great either.
Credit his people for picking correctly and when the pennies got picked they tried to get the dimes. When its time to measure talent boxing rarely lies! Ray

Mawlings not allowed either and there was a lot of that going on too. You want the fight on the inside and then you cry when you catch an elbow or two or seventy. Either learn how to box on the outside or deal with it and find a way to get your punches off.
