Hatton was in the fight and most people wont admit it; and Cortez was paid off by Floyd before the fight got started.

This is one of Floyds dirtiest fights though the Shane Mosley fight comes close to the Hatton fight.

Ppl want Ricky to have been able to hug n hold. The funny thing is if it was against any other fighter but Floyd, the same ppl would be telling u how boring and how illegal it is.

After Pac beat Hatton, people have made out Hatton was some kind of bum. But he did win rounds against Floyd so he cant be that bad, even with Cortea holding hatton back on a leash, like some pitbull ready to destroy Floyd.

I do think Joe Cortez ****** in that fight, seemed like he was very quick to break any clinches.

To compare it to how he was in the Calzaghe/Hopkins fight, he took 2 completely different approaches to each fight.

That's just from a neutral point of view, being not a huge fan of either Floyd or Hatton. To answer the question, I gave Hatton 2 rounds, he did well to win that many since Cortez was so involved.

Mayweather is far superior, but Cortez ruined the fight.
