Floyd did have a talk with Cortez before the fight to have a look for Hattons dirty tactics, so Cortez already had it in his mind to zone in on Hatton and ignore Floyds elbows. If Floyd sidekicked hatton to the head Cortez would probably have missed it thats how focued he was on hatton.

Even though Cortez helped Floyd so much, it was still competitive which shows how good hatton was or how bad Floyd is, whichever way you want to view it.

After Pac beat Hatton, people have made out Hatton was some kind of bum. But he did win rounds against Floyd so he cant be that bad, even with Cortea holding hatton back on a leash, like some pitbull ready to destroy Floyd.

no people don't make him out to be a bum, they correclty point out that floyd toyed with ricky. He let rick have some fun, get his crowd going. Once ricky showed him his ass, well floyd decided he'd had enough and then gave him a beating. Then he knocked him out.

I gave Hatton round 3 and round 7. Round 6 was close but Cortez took a point away so thats out. Maybe round 2 if you can win without landing a punch. Only Oscar can win rounds without landing any punches so I say no. Thats funny because I watched this fight all last week when it came on Mega Fights on Comcast Sports. Its awesome because they use their own commentators too. We dont get stuck with Lampley AKA "The Big **** Theory" and ****** a$$ Larry Merchant. They show all kids of title fights. They showed Hatton/Manny. Yesterday it was Mayweather/Marquez and Mayweather/Mosley it's cool. When Mosley hit Floyd in second round I thought the commentators were gonna die.
