Well its a joke and another way to market cotto, Am sure the puerto rican die-hards also believe that crap selling points.

fmj considers cotto undefeated? i seen him say he thought cotto lost to clottey. he is just talking crap to get fools to pay him to fight cotto instead of pacquiao.

i also lol'd at mayweather saying cotto did it the hard way, no catchweights etc. his last fight was at a fcuking catchweight!!!!!!!!!!

Well, not absolutely risk free, but does give himself the best chance of victory against guys he shouldnt worry too much about if hes as good as he thinks he is.

Hatton at 147 in america, after nearly losing to Collazo, and having a word with ref about hattons dirty tactics, bloating JMM up, fighting SSM and DLH as old men with nearly 10 losses between them.
Not as risk as the fights Cotto took, and Cotto fights regularly so of course hed lose. You cant remain unbeaten on any given day youll have an off day even if your in great shape it just dont happen on the night for you.

Cotto is fighting the best on May 5th.

Can he pull out a upset? Probably not. The reason why people are asking 5-1 odds over e-points.

I see it as a begrudging sign of respect towards Cotto. Mileage might vary.

May 6th, there are going to be some upset people.

          Par for the course.

Hatton didn't even try to get Floyd at 140, and it's not like nearly losing to Collazo back then was bad man. Luis Collazo, what an underrated fighter that guy was, people act like he was a bum or something. Floyd still beat a prime and undefeated Hatton, who was #8 P4P, and had beaten the likes of Tszyu, Maussa, Urango, and Collazo (Castillo was a Top 10 ranked JWW at the time but he wasn't that good anymore by 07'). Hatton was just as quick on his feet at 145 in the Floyd fight, as he was at 140.

You mean bloating up JMM to a weigh the arguably just beat your god Manny at???? Oh yeah, okay.....

Oh and you mean fighting Mosley when everybody and their brother was saying "Floyd needs to fight Mosley, or just retire", when Mosley had just KO'd Margarito, and was the Top ranked WW in the world, and also when Manny said he wouldn't fight Mosley at anything higher than 142......oh and your god also fought him a year later coming off a loss and a draw with Sergio Mora, but that was okay then.

Oh and you mean fighting Oscar at 154, when people actually were calling for that fight??? Where as your god also fought him over a year later at 145, a weight Oscar hadn't been at in 8-9 years, but that was okay then right????

Floyd's only "off day", a fight I had him losing by one point, was the first Castillo fight. And he rematched immediately and won convincingly.

C'mon man. I'm happy we got two good fights from Floyd and manny this time around. It's sad that you only post and take shots at Floyd in EVERY SINGLE POST you make, at the very least 90-95% of the posts you make. DOUBLE STANDARD.

It's funny how Floyd tries to justify this match. When PAC ran thru cotto in 09 I believe floyd said cotto is already done, damage good. Now fast foward to a few years later and now cotto is suppose to be re-born? Yes Floyd u can view cotto as undefeated but u can't take away the damage he has taken Hahahaha!!!

                    Ok..........

OK. So that's why Manny elected not to fight Cotto @ 154? He would have been fighting Manny instead of Floyd but Manny didn't wanna take "the risk" and tried to make Him fight @ 150. Cotto said you are not draining me again. Like I said, Cotto K.O.'s Manny without a catch-weight and guess what? Manny is my favorite fighter today so you are getting an honest and fair assessment from an honest poster. I'm not one off these bogus fans on here like most. I call it like I see it. It's business my friend, never personal. Manny is one of the greatest little fighters in history without question. Key-word "little". You obviously have no idea what losing 2-3 pounds can do to you in a fight where one fighter is properly hydrated and the other one is not. Get your science IQ up man.
