The weight had to make a difference. If it didn't, Manny wouldn't of requested it.
Respect to Cotto for taking the high road and not blaming the defeat on the weight. But having to lose the extra pounds and then not being able to rehydrate past a certain weight had an impact on Cotto's performance and stamina.
Manny likely would've won without the weight clause, but you can't have it both ways. if it wasn't an issue, why ask for it.
Garbage, Cotto fought most of his career @ 140 and had fought his prev fight against Clotty 1 lb lighter than he did Pacquiao. Weight is just an excuse for mayweather fans, which is why Cotto didn't offer one.
