We have seen many questionable calls recently under different promoters.

Recently I remember some blaming Arum even when the winner is not an Arum fighter. Some people will go out and call Arum on making the fix but STOP criticizing (calling it a fix)as soon as someone corrects them that this was a Golden Boy fight!

Looking at history, Top Rank is not any more crooked than any other promoter .... example GB and King.

but I would be the first one against Arum if he gets caught doing it .... we need real proof because I don't like cheats! It kills boxing with all these bad scores.

I usually just blame the (bad) judges.

Sure they were ..... the only ones that said it from my recollection were the ones that were surrounded by mad Marquez fans at the fight.

A few posts back I told you how I and my wife felt when we thought Marquez won. I know you don't believe but that was how we felt. Manny shouldn't get a win if he didn't deserve the win .... but Manny did win .... it was our opinion, yes but it was close not a robbery!

Judging is not easy and while they may see things live that we don't, they don't have access to replays and all the angles that we may have looking at it from the vantage point of a TV.

So a close fight is hard to blame the judges some of the time but yesterday's Rios fight was really bad. I hate when that happens.

I think with Manny, you clearly have an agenda. No doubt about that. Yes, I can respect someone's opinion that Marquez won but to say that it was a robbery was in my opinion, way out in left field.

Manny may have 3 fights left in him. If Manny loses to Bradley, that fight with Marquez can still happen. The only thing in jeopardy would be a fight with Floyd but that one may not happen anyways.

thats just not true, not suprising your biased ass would make things up though, just like its not suprising you try to change the subject to floyds fight even though the thread has nothing to do with that.

arum is a promoter, he hires the judges and writes their checks. make him happy and you will get more jobs in the future, make him pissed and you wont.

haymon is an advisor, he has leverage on hbo bcuz of the amount of top fighters he has under contract. he puts his best fighters on hbo and they give his up and coming fighters a chance to prove themselves on hbo as well, one hand washes the other. however he has very little if any leverage with the judges and isnt in a position to sway them.

haymon doesnt fix fights, he isnt a promoter so he doesnt run the show. im not saying he doesnt have influence just not like that. haymon gets his fighters the best matchups and dates on hbo, but thats as far as it goes.

nobody in boxing can match arums record of corruption and fixing fights is method of choice. to say haymon fixes more fights than arum is not only wrong but ******ed beyond belief.

Cotto would have to KO Floyd regardless of any potential fixing. Why? Because there is 0% chance he could outbox Floyd to a decision. Only way Cotto wins is to KO Floyd or at least knock him down a few times + win the majority of rounds (shouldn't be the case, but its true)
