Bradley will have to KO Pac to win

Marquez vs Manny was a close fight no matter who you thought won the fight. You just have an opinion on who won the fight and I have another. It was too close to call a robbery, if you are objective about it. Several rounds could have gone either way as it was that close ..... a fight can be close but clear but this was not one of them.


Rios was a clear robbery. Even a majority of the die hard Rios fans are not coming out in favor of Rios.

Good post. But are you really judging that fight subjectively? I agree it was a close fight, and that Marquez should have done more down the stretch. But it's not like Pac was really coming on hard at the end to take the fight back.

He didn't hurt Marquez at all really which he did many times in the first two fights, and to me Marquez was just more effective. But you are right, it was a close fight and not an outrageous decision (although, I still think it was a close BUT clear enough victory for Marquez)

After watching that catastrophic robbery tonight, I have realized something.

Bradley will have to KO pac to win, and we know that won't happen. People might have thought before that if he schools pac and scores what should be a clear decision that he would get the win, but now I am sure Bob is shameless enough to do it.

Makes me wonder:

Is Mayweather scared to fight Pacquiao because he is afraid to get robbed?

Exactly, I don't understand why people are picking Bradley to win. The man has literally no chance.

I don't think Floyd would get robbed against Pac because he got slightly more star power.

Actually he might not have to, Bradley has signed with Top Rank and still has 6-8 years left in the tank. Pacquiao has stated numerous times that he intends to retire soon. From a business point of view it makes more sense to rob Pacquiao.

Not with a very lucrative 4th JMM fight or a possible Floyd megafight in the horizon. As long as these options are on the table Pac's winning streak will continue (although I think he'll beat Bradley fair and square because he's several leagues above).

We have seen many questionable calls recently under different promoters.

Recently I remember some blaming Arum even when the winner is not an Arum fighter. Some people will go out and call Arum on making the fix but STOP criticizing (calling it a fix)as soon as someone corrects them that this was a Golden Boy fight!

Looking at history, Top Rank is not any more crooked than any other promoter .... example GB and King.

but I would be the first one against Arum if he gets caught doing it .... we need real proof because I don't like cheats! It kills boxing with all these bad scores.

I usually just blame the (bad) judges.

Arum HAS been caught paying off officials for favorable treatment back in the 90s if I recall. You mean to tell me that isn't a giant red flag with the questionable decisions coming his fighter's ways recently? JCCJR, Pac (although close, Arum seemed to imply he had something to do with it with the "Its just business" comment and the way Marquez looked directly at Arum after the decision as if to say "I thought it would be a fair shake") and now, not surprisingly, this Rios fight..where we should add one of the judges who had it by a wider Margin in the Pac-JMM 3 fight was also judging. Lets not forget the acting in Likar Ramos vs JMM. :P

Unfortunately the fans can't alter what's on the books. 50 years from now, the W over Abril will just look like a W. Arum, best promoter in the game. Soon enough, people will start mentioning Abril as a win for Rios, when mentioning who he's beaten.
