BTW regarding the Title of the thread, its right. It was a close call on the cards. That doesn't mean it was a close fight. Writer is reporting what was on the cards and not what the writer thought about the fight. So title holds truth.

I'm a Rios fan. I'd never seen Abril fight ever before. I scored that fight 118-110, Abril. Disgraceful.

The writer should have said more than many ring side thought Abril won. Everybody except two judges thought Abril won. Let's not pretend like what happened in the ring didn't occur and that the fight was reflected accurately by the scorecards. I'm a Rios fan, but he got his ass kicked.

I was on the floor of Marquez-Pacquiao. Many people thought Pacquiao won that fight on the floor. Even guys that had scored the second fight for Marquez scored that fight a draw or for Pacquiao. There was a lot of room for debate on that one. There was no debate here. I can't recall a single emphatic shot that Rios landed in that fight. He looked awful.

A big Rio's fan but he did lose the fight. Who knows if it would be different had he been fighting @140. Dude's style is not good at all for anybody in that weight class. So for everybody talkin **** don't do it on bam bam blame BOB ARUM'S ****** ASS! Happened to Lundy and Prescott what made you think won't happen wit Rio's. ****s done and said so move on. Hopefully he looks good next fight which im sure he will.
