Nothing to do with Delahoya, he has enough problems without bringing Trinidad up . But yeah, if Tito didn't cheat in that fight against a rookie, the win would look a lot better.
Wach ur amateur gold medal winner who "beat trinidad" and got robbed! enjoy!

That was a disputed decision, he fought John in his backyard and got points deducted by a biased ref. JMM only has one lopsided loss, Tito has 3. JMM has never been knocked out.

Tito was undefeated at welter, he went up to 154 and went right to the best guys in that divison the current champs, Reid and Vargas, then he went up to 160 and fought the champ, Joppy. Then he went up againts one of the best Middleweights of all time and got phuked up. That is nothing to be ashamed about Titos best weight was 147-154. And just a fyi..when he beat Campas and Oba Carr they were both undefeated fighters..Those who say JMM will go down as being greater than Tito didnt watch Tito fight in the 1990's..the only guy to make DLH run..He was a killer in the ring.
                ^^^^ This

                In other words

The good thing about topics like this that when the Real fans in boxing community, ESPN, Sports Ilustrated, ring Magazine etc. will NEVER put Marquez over Tito Trinidad

This is one of those arguments that can go on all day without anyone ever making ground.

Personally, I'm going with Marquez because of his ability to remain in the top 5 p4p for so many years. Even now that he's out of his prime, he finds a way to beat guys he has no physical advantages over.

Trinidad's career had ups and downs, Marquez has been up even when he's lost.

Trinidad had a 40-0 win record with 33 KO's when he lost to Hopkins. He also had an unbeaten championship run of 9 years with 21 wins of which 17 were KO's. His 4 decision wins were to Reid, Whitaker, De La Hoya and Macho Camacho impossible to KO then.

I think he had a long run. And he was regarded as a virtual monster during that time, whereas Marquez never was unbeatable at any time during his career. In the last 4 years he had 3 fights of which he lost 2, to Winky right and Roy Jones, at a ridiculous 170 lbs and finished up with 3 losses in his career. No Comparison.

                      We can agree to differ.
