lol at how people trying to put "PRESSURE" on Mayweather, more so they any other boxer

what ever he does will NEVER BE ENOUGH...if he beats Martinez, you will start to hear people suggest that he fights Andre Ward

so he is right when he say "HE IS IN A NO WIN SITUATION" because...well...HE IS!

The Martinez fight is something most fans would "LIKE TO SEE", but since he is moving to 154, I would have no problem with him fighting the "TWO BEST FIGHTERS AT 154" Back To Back and having a chance to Unify at 154...then after that and he wins both fights and Martinez finally gets Chavez and beats him then who knows it could setup a big match up between the 2 in 2013...

it shows that Mayweather actually has a lot more BIG FIGHT OPTIONS if the Pacquiao fight never gets done

now all of a sudden Canelo is not a worthy fight? are you kidding me?

Canelo is just as good a fight for Floyd as Bradley is for Manny

so it's ONLY on Floyd to fight Martinez next if it isn't Pacquiao? it's not on Pacquiao to fight Martinez next if it isn't Floyd?

you fan boys need to just peek your head up and take a look at the other side of the fence
Fan boys?? The nerve. But no Canelo is not worthy of this fight. How is Canelo as good as Bradley for a fight with either top 2 pfp fighter??

Bradley is a proven champ, unified 140 & beat every other top fighter at 140 save for Khan who just lost to a Bradley victim.
      Meanwhile Canelo's beaten............................................ .......................

Anyway, this tread is about Floyd, Martinez & Canelo. Pacman needs no mentioning here.

        Hmmmm..
What's funny is why aren't these people pushing for Martinez to "seal his legacy" and why are they so OK with Martinez looking for the quick cash out bout? Martinez isn't close to the hall of fame, and beating a small 36 year old welterweight certainly won't do it.

But FLoyd, who is a first ballot HOF'er, is the one that needs it? SMH

Floyd fighting Martinez is the perfect example of pound for pound supremecy. If martinez wins he looks the bully for beating up a smaller fighter, as mayweather did against marquez. If mayweather wins, he gets props for fighting way above his normal natural weight (definition of pound for pound). Why not push for Manny to do this? Simply, physically, manny has peaked...he can't make that kind of weight and be optimal. Margarito was the perfect exception to this, but any other person of that weight class would have most likely given pacquiao great problems. I believe Mayweather has the physical attributes to better carry that higher weight, and can better challengs at middleweight. Let's put it this way, it's awfully hard to challenge Mayweather being top pound for pound if he beats sergio.

If Canelo offers a larger payday why would Floyd fight Martinez instead? Floyd fights for money like most fighters.

Because most boxing fans realize the Pacman's greatness is fabricated, that's why. Now back on topic.

Again it's not an excuse. The more Floyd waits for that fight to happen the more people will say that .... not because its an excuse, it's because Martinez may turn old all of a sudden! Get it? Not hard to understand.

I say the same with Manny .... Manny beat an old Mosley ..... but Mosley was no the same primed Mosley no more ..... wasn't for quite a few years!

Like I said, you putting Canelo and Martinez in the same breathe ..... I only see that because his name is being rumored ..... but Canelo has yet to show us that he should be even mentioned ...... but for you it's all an agenda of some kind! lol!

Floyd's old too, so they are even. And like I'm saying, two old guys (one much smaller) fighting eachother ain't "sealing" no one's legacy.
