If he did really came back at 139 good luck with your Mexican fanbase. I guess he said fk it, I need my advantage.
That would really be ****ed up if Rios did that to Gamboa, if Gamboa took the fight. But now Rios is clear the fight would be at 140 if it did ever happen, after the Gamboa no-show incidents.

guerrero fights in july so he can fight either one in the fall but it would be difficult to make a fight vs alvarado or rio..ya know top rank wont let it happen.

I posted the same, but no one seemed to notice

According to Rafael he did, so i'm guessing it's true. He obviously didn't try to drop the weight, but just looked to rehydrate instead.

          Time to move up!

I just seen Rios weigh in pics, man he looks horrible! And to think he hired a nutrionist too. This difinetely is his last fight at lightweight. Lets see if he can keep his power at 140lbs and make some noise in the jr welterweight division.

There is no way he makes 140 going by how drained he was at 139 on the second try. He needs to go straight to 147.

So sad, but yeah he should've gone to 140, but then a "mega-fight" with Gamboa came up :-/

While it is sad. We all know that he cant make 135 anymore, Hell, he knows he cant make 135 anymore, but he did give a solid effort to make the weight. There's no need in killin himself any longer, it's time for BamBam to move up. Hell he might have to skip 140 altogether.
