Come on bro, you like Broner you think Im gonna argue this topic with you? None of us would know the real outcome of this fight and Broner wasn't even that big of a favorite over Eloy. A lot of people including myself had Eloy winning that fight but I guess we will never know, now will we?Comment

I'm agreeing, read my other posts, that Clay or Sykes is a huge step backward from where they are right now. He's fought good fights with Ponce De Leon, Litzau, and Perez. He should go for someone like Mendez or Burgos for May.
Mendez arguably beat Salgado, the IBF champ. And Burgos had a nice win over Luis Cruz, and is in the Top 10 by the RING and WBO.
But the notion that Broner just fights bums........please. He was suppose to fight Eloy Perez, not Martin Rodriguez for the vacant WBO title, but Perez turned it down because he didn't like the money for traveling to Ohio. They resolved that issue, and they fought in February, and Broner completely killed him. I guess I'm wrong for thinking the coke wasn't the only reason the bigger, quicker, stronger, Broner won the fight with ease.Comment

Just because Broner is taking a step back now doesn't mean he takes bum fights LMAO. The Ponce fight and Litzau fight were both good at the time... and yes I have seen Eloy fight as a matter of fact. Decent boxer, no power, likes to stick and move and go to the scorecards for every win? Or am I thinking of the wrong Eloy?
He couldn't compete with Broner's speed, power, or defense in my eyes before the fight, and after the positive drug test he proved he is the bum and thats all there is to it. He got KTFO, enough said. Blame it on the coke, but it was pretty obvious what the outcome would be no matter the circumstances.
That being said, Perez definetly didn't help his chances by getting drugged up LOL.

I'm not bashing Broner for fighting "bums" but it's true that's what he's been doing. Eloy wasn't 100% and Litzau is a bum who wouldn't had beat Caballero if they would've fought earlier in Caballero's career. Then look what happened when he fought Ponce? Pretty much a midget next to Broner and a weight class below him. To tell you the truth tho, I don't care about who he fights cause I don't care for the dude or his wannabe antics. Maybe I'll care if he ends up fighting one of those guys you mentioned. Hell there's even Martinez and Magdaleno and Escobedo to fight if you ask me.Well, this is just me of course, but I had Broner whupping Perez. Too much speed, power, and a better D as of late.
