Wow, an actual intelligent comment from you congratulations thats a good start man! I definetly agree that he outclassed Ponce while Broner struggled. However, at the end of the fight, both got a unanimous decision. I have never, not once, said that the fight wasn't close. It was honestly unnecessarily uncomfortable for Broner, there shouldn't have been competition like what he experienced with Ponce. But I already said that, in case you overlooked it.

My problem was the fact that you said Ponce should have beat Broner. That was incorrect, and the scorecards don't lie. Was Ponce outclassed by Broner? Hell no, that fight was close all 12 rounds. Did Broner fight a better fight against Ponce than Caballero, Lopez, Gamboa, etc.? Hell no, he should have dusted the floor with Ponce from what I saw. But in the end, he did win, by UD, so I don't see how Ponce should have won that fight? I see why you would be mad, what with getting shut down by multiple people on this post. In the future, just keep the ignorant comments to yourself and you probably won't have any problems!

yes, uchiyama is an elite fighter. salgado isnt. thats my point. salgado is the same exact level fighter as ponce.

and i would love to see uchiyama fight broner, im a big uchiyama fan, but if u think it wont be competitive, then once again, ur just talking.

Broner should be laughing at Clay and Sykes, they are bulls**t to the fullest.

Mendez or Burgos is who he should be fighting in May.
this is the thing with politics ruining boxing, this guy only fights here and the other guy only fights there. Just get the fight done and we can see who really is the best, Burgos is weak imo although he did fall short of a bad decision vs Hasagawa

And btw, thank you for proving that you know absolutely nothing about boxing. The same style? Truly the dumbest thing you could have said ROFL

Try watching a Caballero fight, then watch a Broner fight, then get back to me about where they have the same style. Just pathetic man.

because unlike you, ive seen both guys fight on numerous occasions and i know their skill level is above everyone else's in the division. but im not gonna go back n forth with u tho, just sit back n enjoy the ride, because its gonna probably be a long one for u if u think adrien broner is a bum.

Decisions dont tell the tale of a fight, general consensus does, and the general consensus is the Broner vs PDL fight at the very best for Broner should of been a draw

the thing about japan tho is it only recognizes certain belts so its a lot trickier than other areas.

Burgos isn't on the level of Broner-Uchiyama-Salgado-Mendez, the best SFW's in the world. But, he is a Top 10 SFW contender, would be a solid defense, and beat highly rated prospect Luis Cruz. I'd prefer that over Clay and Sykes anyday of the week.

I don't like it either. But, if I was a professional boxer and a Japanaese fighter who's only in Japan, I wouldn't fight him there, especially if I was in the power position. At the same time, if I were Uchiyama I wouldn't fight Broner in Ohio either. A neutral US site is perfectly fine. It won't happen though. I hope Diego Magdaleno can land a Uchiyama title shot possibly.

And why would Uchiyama come to the US to fight for Broner's WBO title, Japan, where he fights mostly, doesn't even recognize the WBO.

True, I mean... Eloy Perez was at least ranked. Should be moving forwards instead of backwards.
I know we all want a Uchiyama fight... damn location issue though. I think either man would move for the right price though.
Also wouldn't be a unification for Uchiyama since Japaense don't recognize IBF or WBO as titles.
