The fight was stopped because Margarito's eye looked like a ****d twat. Cotto won just about every single round with only 2 rounds to go. Highly doubt Margarito was going to score a KO with 1 eye and only 2 rounds left.

      WBA 154-pound champion Miguel
Cotto (37-0, 30KOs) and his Cuban
coach, Pedro Diaz, are putting together the "perfect strategy" to defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
i know they fixed it already in the original article, but this sentence made me chuckle.

Pacquiao is really undefeated as well...his 2 losses at the beginning of his career was because he was malnourished.

With no real money in the bank ie body shots, moments where he rocked or stunned Cotto.

The BEST Marg could have hoped for was that Cotto would fade further and allow Tony to win the last two rounds meaning the result would be a wide UD for Cotto..... I personally dont even think it would have went that well for Tony!

People "hope" Cotto wins. I KNOW Floyd is going to put a beating on him. That's the difference.

I honestly believe this is an easier fight for Mayweather than Ortiz was. Cotto is stuck in his ways and leans too far forward...he will be eating rights and uppercuts all night.

Once Mayweather takes the jab away, either by countering overtop or out-jabbing the jabber, it's over.
