LOL at the people saying he looks fat

Guaranteed that he's in better shape in that photo than 99% of people on here.

This is most likely all water weight which a fighter loses a couple days before weigh-in. If you don't know water weight will give that kind of soft look.

Even if he cannot fit in the frame of a natural 140 pounder, Juan Manuel Márquez has all the ingredients of a great champ: Decent power to hold other fighters from bullying him, good speed and excellent timing, sublime technique and a repertoire of punching combinations that is second to none in the sport. And to top it all, he is one of the most courageous fighters out there. He may not be the best in any particular department, but he is very well balanced as a boxer.

Who cares about the record? Everyone who watched the fight knows JMM won.

Many factors contribute the way judges see a fight. Top rank is the promoter of manny not Jmm's promoter that is a HUGE advantage already.

I understand it hurts the filipinos (most not all) because this is your national hero and you have nothing more to be proud of I understand that, but many of you need to understand and accept defeat. The truth is the truth the world saw it.

Is many good ? yes he is, but JMM is better.
What a delusional post, moronic, senseless. What? so you are telling us how to understand and accept defeat? Wtf you are talking here brothah? It's Marquez and you and the rest of Marquez fans ought to be gentlemen enough to understand and learn how to accept defeat no matter how it really hurts. Marquez has never defeated Pac, period. All that he got was a gift from the ****** judge that scored round 1 10-7 in first fight instead of 10-6. And the truth of the matter is that in the third fight as the world saw it was that Pac outworked and out-landed Marquez and the judges and the compubox saw it, and Marquez's face after the fight confirmed it. Marquez better that Pac? youre not a boxing fan youre just a Pac hater. Sorry dude all Marquez can do is to get an "almost" win against Pac and even if they fight a hundred times its the closest he could get. To be better than Pac Marquez must not just beat Pac but he has to storm through the WW divisions and not only beat but destroy all fighters worst than Manny did to them. Marquez is supposed to be better right? and he is bigger than Pac right? so he can easily do it right? Hahahahaahah get-off the hate Hijo your hate will consume you.

margarito was the aggressor for the first couple of rounds...aggressor but ineffective. pac was the aggressor not even mid way of the fight.

                    margarito aggressive but wasnt connecting
                    pac the agressor was connecting.

Forcing someone to back pedal is ring generalship - it shows they are afraid of your power as marquez most definitely was - categorize it however you like, but its a factor.

ring generalship aside, pacquiao still landed the far better punches - on a backtracking target as well which is especially impressive - marquez' constant back pedalling and swollen face are a testament to that
the thing is, even tho pac outlanded marquez and those punches were effective blows, marquez threw some solid punches, and those punches are wut the people who think why marquez won...but not enough...if marquez was landing more of those solid shots, then the scores wouldve been different...but marquez chose to not be offensive.
