The vast majority of those people suffer from the same disease that has went around boxing for quite some time now....they place FAR too much emphasis on a guy who comes forward, even if he isn't doing anything. Just because you are moving forward, it doesn't mean you are controlling the fight. Manny was a puppy on a leash, simple as that. It's not a skill on it's own if you aren't getting to where you need to be.
Most of those who scored it for Pacquiao also were the same people who predicted an early blowout for him, even though they had already had two tough fights with eachother before, and the reason they predicted that result was on the basis of a size difference which -Suprise Suprise- didn't even exist in the reality of the fight. So with a few minor exceptions, those above should be completley discarded.
The actual judges who came up with the official verdict, whether they realised it or not, place far too much emphasis on one man simply moving forward, which is ok if the other guy does nothing....unlike Marquez, who made Manny Pacquiao once again look like a novice by using the same counter-punching combinations he did in the two previous fights (which by the way, are all specific to Pacquiao, meaning that they wouldn't work on most fighters, thats the accuracy and skill of Marquez) and the same simple movement which Shane Mosley used to survive, even though he couldn't do anything else, but Pacquiao still couldnt figure it out for himself.
Im not hating on Manny, but I've been in boxing my whole life, and unlike most of the Pacquiao faithful, my love and interest for boxing does not depend and centre on and around Manny Pacquiao's winning streak.
He lost the third fight with Marquez (at least). He hasn't changed much since the second fight with JMM either , get over it.
