Lol hadnt seen this dude make such a ****** comment in a while, I know you love Miguelito but cmon dude we talking about the same Cotto that struggled with Joshua Clotteys defense, im not saying Cotto is going to get demolished because he is a world class fighter, but once Floyd breaks his will with movement and counters he is going to resort back to the scared Cotto from the Pac and Marg fights.

Lol and you wanna talk about cherry picking Cotto : Yuri Foreman coming off best win over faded Daniel Santos and still gave Cotto problems with 1 leg, Ricardo Mayorga (Hadnt made 154 in almost 4 years prior to the fight) and still busted up Cotto, and Eye-Damaged Margarito who made Cotto back pedal for the majority of the fight

Mayweather : Ortiz (Fresh off Berto win) Money stood right there with him and showed his superiority, Mosley (Off Margarito KO) Same as with Ortiz, except straight domination to a UD after the 2nd round, Marquez (top 3 P4P fighter who has given Pacquiao hell) Unfair fight imo but Marquez is one of the best and Mayweather didnt break a sweat

Love for Cotto to win, it would be the best for boxing. Don't know that he can do it though. His boxing ability and discipline to stick to a gameplan has improved in his last few fights but he is easy to hit and seems to have lost a step physically. Hopefully the weight advantage gives him an edge like it did DLH in 2007. One thing going for him is that he's never lost to a black fighter, fought many of them of different styles (Mosley, Clottey, Judah, Corley, N'Dou, Bailey), and despite having been put through great adversity from some of them he still managed to pull through and win. Pressure is Mayweather's weakness. If Cotto can let his hands go and sustain pressure, penetrate his defence and land some of his heavy shots, he could knock him out. There's no way he's going to outbox him that's for sure, his strategy has to be pressure. If you watch any of Mayweather's fights, he's most vulnerable when his opponent is letting his hands go while pushing him back. Even with Ortiz, you will see that he started landing on that last round with the pressure he was bringing.

WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (37-2, 30KOs) says he is "ready to shock the world on May 5th" - when he defends his title against Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Cotto is training in Florida with his his new coach, Pedro Diaz of Cuba. They are putting together a plan of attack to overcome Mayweather's very difficult style of boxing. There is only one way to beat Floyd, K.O him. He can't be outboxed by mentally previous loss fighters that are inferior technically, Hatton, Oscar and Castillio showed you can have measured success roughousing but just that, measured. Floyd took two risks against known punchers earlier in his career, Mosley and Corrales..admittedly now we may not see it again. Call me crazy but I believe Alvarez if he develops has a small chance but defensively he lacks and Ray Leonard and Robinson are no longer here.

You act like Cotto wouldn't have trashed Gatti just as bad as Mayweather did.
