How Is Chemito Moreno ranked above Mares?

He was ahead of Mares until Mares beat him.
Moreno was ahead of Agbeko since Moreno was so dominant twice against Sydorenko in Germany that they couldn't find a way to rob him. Yet Agbeko was competitive with Sydorenko. Even though Agbeko might have deserved the win, he wasn't as dominant as Moreno.Comment

I remember how they would clap at every glancing blow Sydorenko landed in the first fight, in the rematch Moreno gave them no reason to clapHe was ahead of Mares until Mares beat him.

lolol more or less....
either way, its still a fight that needs to happen. Chemito is a bore to watch, but i think (stylistically) he might give Abner some problems.
two thoroughbreds in my opinion though.

Why do people give such belligerent opinions on fighters they know very little, if anything, about? If you don't know who Moreno has fought and why he deserves to be ranked where he is, just shut up.Comment

All I know is when he loses, he's gonna be labeled "exposed". And people will say, well he's not as good as I thought, I overrated him. Just like all it takes is 1-2 good wins for a fighter to become overrated, all it takes is one loss for the fighter to be called exposed. I don't either like or dislike Moreno, I have no opinion of him. I like Mares though. I'd like to see Moreno vs Agebko and I would have liked to see him vs Johnny Perez, who Mares had to fight a total of 3 times[Agbeko twice, Perez 1] and right in between that he fought Vic, all 4 of them in a row.
Beating Agbeko now would be a good win, but IMO Agbeko from 2009-2011 was the best time to fight him cause that was when he was hot. Now coming off two consecutive losses, one close and dirty, and the second one I thought was pretty wide and decisive, he's no longer as hot, but he's still good. Moreno is basically in Bute's place right now, he can fight fighters who were once hot a year or 2 ago and now he can fight them coming off the tourney and every one is fresh off of fighting each other. He can beat up on them while they came off that tough tourney.Comment

The Ring is owned by the promoter of Abner Mares...Moreno is like an obscure band that hipsters gravitate to because nobody knows about it and it makes them feel cool.
Mares is a well known fighter who can draw a crowd and has won a prestigious bantamweight tournament on a big cable channel.
The Ring is written by a bunch of neckbearded nerds, so to take anything they say seriously is a reflection of a boxing newb.Comment
