And, I guess that is a matter of opinion. boxinggenius27 damn near accused me of being a Chavez hater. DempeyRoll and I use to debate all the time about Chavez, he thought Chavez was more deserving than I ever gave him credit for. And, you think I'm a full blown Chavez fan. I guess it all depends on what the convo is.
Hence I said, they're about the same to me. So it would be an okay win for their standards. They would be the best win on each others resume. You don't agree?

I don't know about Dempsey or Boxingenius conversations with you. But I have always seen you side against Martinez in the Chavez Jr-Martinez saga, even with your other handle. I guess different posters read posts differently. I think the worst thing I have ever read that you said about Chavez Jr, is that Martinez is too good for Chavez Jr, and that Chavez Jr v Cotto is a better match, which I agree. But I just want to see Chavez Jr get his ass kicked by Martinez, rather than by Cotto. But both Martinez and Cotto would most likely knock Chavez Jr out.

I can foresee Chavito winning the fight and suffering an injury that puts him on the shelf until Martinez retires lol

Ariza outed Arum's shady dealings concerning JCC Jr. Chavez and his team refused to sign the 2 fight extension, a few days later, the Lee and Martinez deals are finalized.

This is no coincidence... If Jr. would've signed the extension, we might've been talking about a completely different fight. No extension? You get thrown to the wolves.

Well Chavez still has over a year left in his contract. If what you're saying is true why not wait till the last fight of the contract to throw him to the wolves?

And, from what I read Chavez already signed the 2 fight contract extension.

I'd have thought having Sergio Martinez sign his own death warrant is a violation of both U.S and International law?

Lee has a chance, Jr. can't make 160, legaly, and straining to make weight will finally hurt him. Lee has the style to make Baby Chuey, chase him and carry that fat a33 around the ring, all night till he's weezing and wore out. All that extra weight is good as long as he's on top of the other guy, but carrying it around all by himself won't be so easy. Martinez will not stand in front of him for sure, he'll run him ragged. Move on him, Lee, and make him move, a lot.

why is martinez so eager to fight jccjr, who will basically weigh on fight nite as big as what a supermiddleweight would weigh at...but yet says fighting super middleweights is too big for him?

also, why is martinez so eager to fight mayweather if mayweather accept, but dont want to accept andre ward, who is willing to drop down to fight martinez?
