I would say think Chavez might = Ortiz...Or might be even better than Ortiz...I'm not sure yet. They jury is still out. But, Chavez is growing on me. Doping and all.
With the fight being in Texas? Hell ****ing no. Hell no. It would be ****** to think Lee can actually win a decision in Texas vs a Mexican even if he outboxes Chavez Jr. But I have said before, I don't think highly of Lee either, so it wouldn't surprise me if Chavez Jr actually legitimately beats Lee without controversy. They're about the same to me, more or less. I mean McEwan was beating Lee if I remember correctly, and Lee did lose to Brian Vera.

Oh, that's obvious, that you like Chavez Jr. I don't think he's growing on you, I would have just guessed you're a full blown Chavez Jr fan already

The belt was handed to the interim champ in Zbik who The Ring had at #10 I believe.

I wish Martinez had that same anger for Pirog who also got handed Martinez belt. Too bad he had to waste our time with Barker

Well that's interesting. So Chavez gets no credit either way.

And, I guess that is a matter of opinion. boxinggenius27 damn near accused me of being a Chavez hater. DempeyRoll and I use to debate all the time about Chavez, he thought Chavez was more deserving than I ever gave him credit for. And, you think I'm a full blown Chavez fan. I guess it all depends on what the convo is.

That's how I feel, Martinez is the champ. All these other MW's should be fighting each other for a chance to fight Sergio. Start eliminating the competition.

Not as a legit good/top Middleweight, because he's proven that with the Zbik and Rubio fights to me. But to be considered legit for the hype he gets is what I guess I meant. To be consdiered a legit top fighter in the sport and to warrant the attention that he gets. Same goes for Canelo to me.

This Martinez-Chavez Jr deal is starting to remind me of Hatton-Tsyzu.
