DLH, Mosley and Ortiz were never trash talkers. All of a sudden when they fight Mayweather, they're talking trash.

Hatton was more of a comedian making fun of himself. I never really viewed Hatton as the insulting type. But he also fell into the bait of trash talking with Mayweather.

Last night, when Floyd stopped the interview to check the games, which was rude, Cotto could've tried something to be rude also. But he did the most important thing. He was himself and didn't fall into the "Let's see who can be more rude" game.

I commend Cotto and now I am really intrigued to what will happen May 5th. They say boxing is 80% mental and 20% physical. It looks like Cotto passed his first few tests. We'll see.

I think Cotto should bite in the trash talk. I mean this whole man shell he's in doesn't help for business at all. Right now all the focus is on Pacquiao because he's the best p4p and biggest star in boxing. What's trash talk bate? Checking the game while the man is speaking or in the middle of an interview. If you're at work in a meeting, are you gonna be checking scores to a game and put the meeting on hold? Of course not, it was disrespectful. It was a "feeling out" mechanism by Floyd. He wanted to see if Cotto would respond to him and try to "play his game".

In fact, I remember Floyd gave an interview during his tour with Mosley. Floyd said Mosley was "lost" because Mosley was talking trash with Floyd and he knew that wasn't Mosley's game. Well, we know talking trash isn't Cotto's game either. The reason I said "talking trash" in my OP and thread title because that's the only other way Cotto could've retaliated after Floyd's rudeness. Or do you think Cotto's suppose to hit the guy during the interview? No, he was suppose to either do something rude to combat what Floyd did or possibly trash talk Floyd for doing it.

If Cotto wanted, he could've also tried to match Floyd's rudeness. But he's not that type of person and he stuck to his gun's about who he is as a person. That's what was meant.
