This matters not when they both step in the ring. Mayweather is going to demolish the Puerto Rican. Even the casual fan can dissect what will happen in this fight. They'll both dance around for two or so rounds and once it's clearly evident the speed advantage Mayweather has he'll begin to pick Miguel apart like he's plucking the feathers off a chicken. By the tenth round or earlier Miguel will be ready to throw up the Puerto Rican flag as if it were the white flag....and he won't be looking to his corner saying "No More"...he'll take a page out of Duran's book and say "No mas"

What I like about Cotto, is that unlike other opponent who felt they needed to do something new, different, to combat Mayweather, Cotto is not thinking that, he believes in his the strengths he has already and his battle is getting them firing on all cylinders.

Floyd acted like a kid with ADH, but don't HBO have and editing system, I don't care to watch Floyd and Max talk about Prada shoes and Cartier watches. Maybe Floyd is hoping for an endorsement LOL

Mayweather had a chip on his shoulder going into the DLH fight he unleashed on him and Mosley claimed he had a toothache in the past when he first tried to fight him which he never forgot about so unleashed on him to Mayweather really didn't talk any trash to Cotto yet he he has no issues with him just like he didn't with JMM so he won't go in on Cotto like some might expect he would

I think the OP doesnt know what "trash talking" means.

FLoyd hasnt "trash talked" Cotto even one bit. He Floyd was being Floyd when he was showing alittle disregard but hes always going to do that just to play with his Opponent. Cotto knows that so he doesnt care therefore he carried on.

But Floyd Trash Talked all the other guys, he isnt doing it with Cotto and asking for his tablet wasnt "trash talk" so i dont understand the point of this thread

What's trash talk bate? Checking the game while the man is speaking or in the middle of an interview. If you're at work in a meeting, are you gonna be checking scores to a game and put the meeting on hold? Of course not, it was disrespectful. It was a "feeling out" mechanism by Floyd. He wanted to see if Cotto would respond to him and try to "play his game".

In fact, I remember Floyd gave an interview during his tour with Mosley. Floyd said Mosley was "lost" because Mosley was talking trash with Floyd and he knew that wasn't Mosley's game. Well, we know talking trash isn't Cotto's game either. The reason I said "talking trash" in my OP and thread title because that's the only other way Cotto could've retaliated after Floyd's rudeness. Or do you think Cotto's suppose to hit the guy during the interview? No, he was suppose to either do something rude to combat what Floyd did or possibly trash talk Floyd for doing it.

If Cotto wanted, he could've also tried to match Floyd's rudeness. But he's not that type of person and he stuck to his gun's about who he is as a person. That's what was meant.
