When some of these old timers like Leonard come out bashing todays fighters, I always get the feeling that they are just a little jealous at the type of money fighters like Floyd and Manny can make even fighting bums and only having 2 fights a year making 20+ million, It goes a lot deeper than just Manny and Floyd wanting the fight, it involves Bob Arum, money and other road blocks, I think most of us Hardcore fans are just about over it now, this fight should of happened years ago when both were younger in their early 30's at this point it's pretty clear Floyd would win a UD. Pacs an old war torn 33yo ..

because these floyd apologists never even attempt to use their brains. they're still into this make-believe blood-test mantra as if pac agreeing to it would make the fight happen right away. pac agreed and all of a sudden their idol was saying 14 days-cut off was no longer on the table.

pac adjusted again, pbf and his idiotic fanboys were saying training in pacman's country is not allowed. his pop was suggesting ost spies. in the midst of it all, there were reports flying around that he was demanding $100 million. then came the cinco de mayo and venue he just threw out there without even consulting his opponent's team. when all of that has been accepted by pac, he came up with another roadblock, something like 80/20 split.

man, is this the picture of a guy who wants this fight badly? this is just a pretender and a clown. pac should have called his first bluff right away so this clown and his fanatics would have been exposed early. he would have come up with another excuse not to fight. the evidence is all over the place.

SRL is holdng both accountable. Why don't you do the same. I hate SRL but at least he is willing to hold each to an equal standard.

Manny waited from Dec 2009- through May 2010 to finally decide to accept a compromise request floyd took off the table because manny was being a b!tch about testing.

If manny had the same attitude about the deal he has now back in Dec 2009 you'd have nothing to say!

Floyd and Manny are BOTH at fault for it not happening yet. If it happens in 2013 and both have kept winning, it'll still mean something. Both are where Leonard and Hagler were in their careers, past their prime-still good, still some of the best in the world. The fight should have happened in March 2010. Manny was at fault for refusing testing for 2+ years, but Floyd is at fault for backing off on the 50/50 split, which they agreed to in 2010. Manny also didn't do himself any favors by saying he'd take less money.

Until they both get their s**t together, hopefully in 2013, I don't give a f**k about the fight. It's unrealistic at this moment in time.

Why should Pac submit to another fighters demand especially if he is innocent ? I don't blame Pac period for turning down JR's demands. Only an idiot would give into those demands but this got down to not just tests, it got down to unrealistic money demands. On a 200 mil fight Pac gets 40 and Jr gets 160 ?????? NO ppv ??? Costas interview ???

In all honesty, its both Floyd and Arum who have prevented this fight from happening. Pac seems all for it and has went on record several times to say that he wants to fight Floyd. Floyd has created roadblock after roadblock while Arum pretends to want it only to match Pac against someone else all the while milking Pac for all he's worth before pitting him against Floyd. Floyd's call out via twitter was all smoke and mirrors. How are you going to call someone out like Pac then say that they cant have any of the ppv revenue? LOL.

Good point. They either did not want to fight each other or their egos were too big to take a back seat to one another and both do not paint a good picture of the definition of a "Fighter". Both are to blame. Anyone who takes just one side or the other, looks like a fool.

Why do so many of you have a problem with floyd wanting both fighters to take OST before a fight? There is no sane reason ANY manny fan can come up with for him not agreeing to both take tests. As such, then you say well its only floyd's fault for asking?
