I could see Sergio working to make 154 for such a lucrative pay night.
    150? No way.
    And Mayweather knows it.

No Pac, no quick Hall of Fame ballot.
Translation: Lot's of cash and little true respect for Floyd shoud he persist in ducking Manny.

I'm to the point where I've "really" given up on a Pac/Floyd fight, so this is the new favorite on my boxing wish list! There's no way this wouldn't be an exciting match, especially with a possible P4P #1 slot going to the winner. How often do you see two boxers fighting for the P4P slot?

        Money May

How many people on here really know about boxing? All I read from the Floyd Hater is that he's scared or he fears this guy or that guy. He's in the fight business. Enough said. Keep in mind boxing is a business! When Floyd will trying to make his way, many fighters refused to fight him. Was it bc they feared Floyd Mayweather? I truly doubt it, but Floyd was in the process of making a name for himself. So fighters who had already put their time in felt that he had to earn his way like everyone else does. If thats what yall consider ducking or being scared of fighters, you really got this boxing game confused. Floyd is his own boss. If Manny had bought out his contract with Bob Arum & became his own boss, the fight wouldve happened already. Also, keep in mind... Manny has only made a name for himself bc of his power & knockouts over fighters at "catchweights". In the real boxing world, you're not considered a welterweight champ if you fought someone drained at a catchweight of 144. Pounds make alot of difference in the fight game. Floyd has NEVER fought any fighter at a catchweight. He is the highest paid athlete in the world, so how do you get that big in boxing? Floyd isnt ducking no fighter, Manny isnt ducking anyone either. Its a business & Manny doesnt deserve the same "credit and/or money" as Floyd Mayweather whether you like it or not. Its the facts of the history of boxing, its the business of boxing and that part will never change. Its funny how some people who dont follow boxing, jump on Manny's balls in the last 4yrs of his career bc of all the attention & media. Arum started this whole feud between Floyd & Manny bc he knows idiots like some of you would feed into it & start to follow Manny's career alot more.. Which means more media, more money for Bob Arum, more controversy, more people associating Manny with Floyd. "Oh thats Manny Pacquiao, the guy Floyd Mayweather is ducking. The highest paid boxer & the highest paid athlete in the world all of sudden is ducking a fighter and/or needs another fighter to build up his name? Thats funny! Its the other way around gentlemen. Get your facts straight & follow the sport of boxing correctly!

It won't happen at 160. Maybe for Floyd's 154 title after taking it from Cotto, or at a catchweight.

But then again, he may just duck the fight as usual until Martinez is no threat to his health.

Floyd said boxing isn't real anymore.

Keep listening to him and his facts.

Sergio IMO is starting to get annoying.. Why the hell is seeking smaller men? Make your own path to greatness dont take the shortcut by calling out the P4P best at lower weight classes..

BHOP did the same with De La Hoya and Trinidad when they were both at 147. right now the money is at 147 and 154, so of course Martinez who is a natural 154 fighter is going to call out anybody who comes up into his weight range. if Andre Ward brought Floyd Mayweather money to the table.

plus you have to figure that Martinez is playing to a Latino audience. he's on ESPN deportes and other spanish programs a lot. they don't ask him about Ward or any of the guys at 168. they don't ask him about Pirog or any of the other russians. they ask him about Chavez, Mayweather and even Canelo to some extent.

finally beating Mayweather would mean more if he beat Ward, Froch and Bute on the same night (not that he could). the public knows Mayweather but they don't know the other guys. diehard fans would respect him more if he went up but that means **** in the p4p popularity contest.
