The Doc might have stopped it a little soon, but Linares was in real trouble, you guys shouldn't take away from Thompson's victory, Linares didn't get stunned and cut on his own.

even after linares wobbled thompson i still knew thompson had a chance because even in the first round he landed some good shots and you could tell linares didn't take them well,even if linares would have won say in the third round,that victory would have still looked not so good because he got put down and seemed to feel the punches,he gets hit a lot and cant' take punches that well

he loves to admire his work....throws a great combination, admires it, brings a hand back slowly, steps away ineffectively, isn't all the way out of range and just takes the punch or attempts to roll with them which he isn't good at nor does he have the chin for it. feet are a little too wide apart, limits his ability to move outside of punching range or pivot quickly

hard to just go back to the drawing board in boxing because now he has another KO on his body and another training camp he has t go through but defense has to be the #1 priority from now on. he wont forget how to throw punches
