I just watched the fight.

I can't even complain. I'm the biggest Linares fan but ****. That wasn't a home cooked meal.

Linares got it with a big overhead right, was rocked. But tried to fucking fight off the ropes, than cover and avoid. Got knocked down, a cut on his eyebrow. Met the count, ref paused the action after seeing his cut. Doctor looked at the cut, stopped fight immediately.

Fight stopped by cut. Linares was ready to fight but the doctor stopped it based on the cut. But it wasn't a headbutt, so I guess it's legit but Linares really didn't get owned by any means.


Please get the fuck away from Roach. Please.

whether is was a **** stoppage or not. Linares was getting tagged in the first round and you could see an upset was coming. His defense was **** and he wasn't exactly arguing over the stoppage.

Just because he ended up being right doesn't mean he wasn't biased. The doctor in the Klitschko-Lewis fight took much longer to stop it and the cut was like 10 times worse.

There is a difference between a setup and incompetence.

Linares was undefeated confident fighter going into the fights. Now, he suffered a few set backs, coming back from getting cut up(did the cuts even heel properly?) and TKO'd. And, more importantly up until a month ago he thought he was fighting in Venezuela, not Mexico.

I don't think I have mentioned setup once. And, never even insinuated it. Now incompetence in the other hand...Not knowing to move and build up a fighter...That's something I am insinuating.

LInares was Sooo much better when he was an unknown in Japan. He should go back to being an unknown in Japan then right? /sarcasm

Thompson was pedestrian as hell. If they were getting him ready for DeMarco, that guy was a great tuneup for a DeMarco fight.

The blame is on Linares for not boxing smarter. His face doesnt hold up, he needs more D. and not get lured into gunfights with skin like that. None of that has to do with GBPromotions. Oscar and Richard are not his trainers.

I wouldn't accuse GBP of not knowing how to build up a fighter. They're trying to build up Linares in the US and in Mexico, Venezuela isnt a big market for boxing. If it was such a big market he wouldn't have ever left for Japan in the first place. He would be big here too. That was a winnable fight. Not their fault he keeps losing.
