Kotelnik was supposed to be an easy fight in his hometown. They were trying to make a statement by doing a better job on him than Khan...lol fail.

Same with Mathysse, he'd been on HBO against Judah.

Both were pretty handpicked even though they ended up beating Devon.

Kell has had no US exposure. Alexander isn't going to fight him on July 7th so its kinda moot talking about it

Yeah that would be great but again, the problem is neither would fight Brook yet because of his lack of US exposure. I think thats why they're trying to get someone like Maidana.

          You Yanks are crazy.

' Lets just throw some prospect who's beat Matthew Hatton in with bonafide top welterweight competition '.

          Never going to happen.

American's have a soft spot for watching Englishmen get beat up.

In all seriousness though people are very quick to want to see boxing prospects get moved up, when in reality it is best to let them come along slowly at their own pace. Top boxing prospects have the highest washout rate among any sport, top prospects fail in all sports but nowhere near the rate as boxing.

You're being ****** and you know you are, the problem with Kell Brook is he's took his whole damn career LIGHTLY!!
Look where Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley are in their career both debuted the same year as Mr Kell Brook and now are at the top of their careers and aren't considered as PROSPECT!!
Man you must be seriously delusional, I'm not even a Yank I just prefer keeping it REAL something most British people can't seem to do.

Kell Brooks could just be another Calzaghe in the making maybe he will decide to fight some real named opponents when he's near retirement pffft what a joke.

I'd like to see Kell fight Zaveck in July 7th. Clotteyw ould be okay I guess, at least he'd be in witha somewhat known guy who's been in with the top fighters.

After July 7th, he has a lot of options. Senchenko-Malignaggi winner, Guerrero-Aydin winner, Berto-Ortiz II winner, Alexander, Khan, etc.

With some of the uneducated replies from the biased British people on here I don't blame any American's to having a enjoyment out of watching British fighters fail miserably, If you take your career lightly most cases you wont make it...

I certainly don't think in the first two years you should be fighting the number one of the division but Kell Brook has accomplished by far less than Devon Alexander in 28 fights...
I'm not lying neither but I think I would actually like to see Kell Brook get his dream come true and Amir Khan come up to 147 for him to be schooled It's a shame though It's so easy to hate on someone when the fans supporting him are so biased and ignorant.
