I don't like it when boxers just becasue their parents are from rican or mexican decent automatically makes them latino. I've said it before, if he wasn't raised on the island he ain't no rican.

I was born in Dominican Republic, but was raised here in New York since I was 2 months old. My parents are both Dominican, I speak both English and Spanish. I'm 100% Dominican even if I was raised here my whole life. Only thing is my English is better than my Spanish, and I don't know the DR national anthem or any history of DR. But that doesn't change that I was born there, to 100% Dominican parents.

I respectfully disagree. You have a semblance of DR in you but you're not from DR. You're an american. You were raised in the american system, enjoying all it's freedoms and customs. You have american values imbued with you're parents values from DR.
