That doesn't automatically make him speak spanish. Few days ago someone, I forgot his name, mentioned he never rep'ed their flag but now all of the sudden he's the first LATINO champ out of Philly -.-.

He barely speaks any spanish, but both of his parents are Rican. So that makes him latino, and if you watched the fight against Morales, you'll see he had a flag on his short.

          That's true.

          Take me for example.

          I barely know any Spanish.

He had the Puerto Rican flag on his shorts last night. On the right side I think.

PR flag right there. Now stop questioning how much the guy reps PR. People care too much about nationalities.

There are some Mexican American boxers that know little Spanish but wear the flag.

Nothing wrong with repping your heritage.

I just noticed Garcia has Winning gloves. Aren't those "pillow" gloves? Did Morales ask for them? I wonder if they were Reyes, would Garcia be able to KO Morales since he was able to knock him down and back him off on other occasions and he's not even a big puncher to begin with.

I don't like it when boxers just becasue their parents are from rican or mexican decent, it automatically makes them latino. I've said it before, if he wasn't raised on the island he ain't no rican.

But cong**** on his win, hope he gets to keep it.
