Ill put it like this If i had to be either Morales or Floyd, Ill pick Morales. Just overall more respected from boxing fans and dont need no out of the ring gimmicks to draw interest in his fights. But then again my greed for that $$$$$ will be the only reason I will ever consider being floyd but the trade off is not worth it to me.

At the moment they're riding the '0' hard but the reality is if you have a 0 on your record after 42 pro bouts then you're not taking the fights you were supposed to take when you were supposed to take them.

Morales did and came out in credit, that's why he's greater.
        There's only onnnnnnne Ricky Hatton!!!

        Anyways Floyd>Morales

I don't know. For better or worse more fans know he Floyd is. And respect from them is one thing, but Floyd gets more respect from actual fighters and trainers. They may just know a little more than the average fan.

Pretty even. I give the edge to Morales based on in ring accomplishments though.

I give the edge to Morales. He fought greater fighters, had the more memorable battles and was a greater ambassador to the sport.

If it was prime for prime, if they met up at 126ish or even 130, I'd probably favor Morales to be too tough, too strong, too willed for Floyd. Who knows, it'd be a good fight. Overall, I think the respect Morales has from all over plays a part.

To reiterate, Morales fought and beat greater fighters than Mayweather has, and for me, that's what pushes it in his favor. The woulda/coulda argument is lame.

But on his best day he would get anhilated by floyd. And thats not a knock on morales but floyd is superior to him in every way!

Floyd goes through Morales's resume 60-0, easy, taking candy from a baby.

Morales going through Floyd's resume 42-0? Nope.

Morales would have a hard time going through his 130-135 lb resume.

Not even past prime Floyd loses to David Diaz or Zaheer Raheem. And Floyd wouldn't even lose a round to Barrera or Pacquiao. Maidana and Garcia both lose lopsided fights to past it Floyd.
